I just got mine!  However, there was a bad wire (looks like it broke off the connector).

I hope they can just send me a replacement wire harness.

I'm definately not going to power it up or anything in case it damages the unit.  Please help, sushi!  Can't hash without it, lol.

Got mine since Dec 13 and I still haven't been able to use it properly due to the broken ribbon cable.  Radio Shack does not any anything that would work.  The temp fix is too temp... Wire would not make contact after a short while.

Lost a good window of luck at BTCGuild. Sad

Put something in my tip jar if I made your day. Smiley

Irrelevant.  If I mine x BTC, no matter what it's worth now, I have x BTC.

Difficulty is on schedule to rise soon, so there's that...

I was referring to BTC guild the pool... not BTC price, to which I agree with you.

try to ramm a piece of paperclip into the broken contact and then solder the parted wire to it

base power could be the issue...

Received all my 4 miners, everything worked fine, thanks a lot!

By the way I've noticed that while my low power (around 600W) Coolermaster PSUs had no problem powering ants from the start, my bigger 1kW Coolermaster PSU didn't want to start with ants (or ant, doesn't matter) connected to it, but if I turned it first, and after few secconds connected cables to ants, everything worked fine, so I guess some PSUs don't like to have high load from the start.

Paid 356 zł VAT to courier, so around 100 USD / 80 EUR.

Try connect a fan on 5v or a dvd.

What's the model number of that 1kW one? Most good high-end PSUs use a DC-DC design for the minor voltages, so don't need a load on them.
I had the non-start issue with some 1500w's , forgot to try the 5v fix.

Sushi, racking # was actually correct, for some reason when I copy and pasted out of the subject line, it must of had some weird formatting because it wouldn't recognize it. So after manually typing it in it worked.  Should show up today!

Fastest shipping I've ever seen from China and absolutely zero issues with the product. Extremely satisfied. Thanks BITMAIN and Sushi.

How did you explain it to the customs in the end?
Or what kind of proof was valid for them?
I'm probably going to have the same problem... That's why I'm asking  Wink

i`m going to use sysiob post as template:

Short report:
Units arrived yesterday - Romania.
Started smoothly, zero problems with the units, had some problems with PSUs (shuting down because there was no load on the 5v rail), digging with nominal speed.
Paid 180 lei (~45eur) fiscal taxes.

2 AntMiner (425w each) +  raspeberyPi + BFL Little Single (150w) = 1kwh

big thanks sushi & bitmain
