What's going on here? After the fork pools don't even have 10 % of the global hash rate. Is this an ASIC coin now?

https://coinimp.com

it's called Webchain for a reason.

no ASICs. no GPUs. even mini ASICs like Threadrippers got served.

The threadripper throttle is definitely disappointing. It's a consumer grade CPU, and now it's even more unprofitable to mine Webchain with it.

I downloaded the latest version of the miner. The default config.json file is "algo": "cryptonight-webchain". Do I need to change the algorithm here?

No, you don't have to change it, mining works fine, and identifies actual algo automatically.

Thank you Pavel. Allow me to ask another question. I put 2 threads and get 100 hashes. I put 4 threads and get 100 hashes too. The number of threads does not affect the speed?

Hi, I can see that Webchain supports DAPP's and SmartContracts. Is there any DAPP that was build on Webchain? Is it possible to use Ethetreum developing frameworks (like Truffle) for Webchain? Will there be any documentation/tutorials/examples?

Thanks, Anton

Hello, MintMe (https://mintme.com) is going to be a Dapp built on Webchain. Truffle is possible. Doc/tutors/samples - yes, it all will be.

Pavel
