Why people want ETH to over come BTC

Of course, the first reason is the price of ethereum which is much cheaper than bitcoin. The second reason is the ethereum platform that has a reliable ability. The third reason is the development of ethereum is done consistently. The fourth reason is the use of ethhereum platforms in various ICOs makes the demand for ethereum significantly increased. Many opportunities available in the ethereum make crypto users interested in investing in it.

May be the merits of Ethereum fascinates the investors towards it, as it's transaction cost is quiet lowers than BTC, or some other qualities of  ETH fascinates the  investors.

Why some people want the Ethereum to over come Bitcoin in the near future? Is it because they make profit from ETH or what?

In my opinion the main reason that is coming in my mind is that , people are getting save of his money from the transaction fee .
As we seen that about 3 months ago fees of the bitcoin transaction was very high , so people moves toward etherium but in actual here they are not understanding that how much the bitcoin have strength to handle such a bulk amount of transaction at the same time .
If we will put etherium at place of the bitcoin then in that case I don't think that such bulk amount of transaction no. Can be handle by the etherium network can be handle .

probably because the growth of ETH is better than BTC because now that I know BTC has not gone up so from that many people who want ETH to exceed BTC but on the other hand Ethereum can already exceed bitcoin because yesterday before price of Ethereum decreased has reached high price than at BItcoin

On the contrary, I do not expect ETH to surpass BTC, because BTC has been successful enough. If ETH exceeds BTC, its position in the encrypted currency market will change.

I believe that this can have multiple reasons and one of them can be that some people cannot afford bitcoin but own som ether on their accounts

I don't know the logic of how they are. I analyzed that they should be a group of Ethereum proponents, or they have a lot. But I think this is an illusion. Ethereum can never be done.

Most people want that because they are mining it with graphics cards which couldn't mine Bitcoin or are making money on it. A majority of them also wants that because it has smaller fees and confirmation times, but the reality is, Ethereum would crack at the price Bitcoin has right now. Bitcoin was struggling when the price pumped up but it survived, Ethereum would die there.

I think that's what those who do not have bitcoin want and want ETH. Everyone wants to make money in this there is nothing wrong, but bitcoin will not go anywhere, he will not be allowed to go down to 0!

You would only care if you had a bunch of Etherium that you wanted to make money on. There is no other reason to be in favor of one coin’s success over another coin’s.

However, I do think that it will be good for the cryptocurrency markets as a whole if Bitcoin is successful and the same probably could be said for Etherium as well since these are the top 2 cryptocurrencies.

Because people are holding ETH in their wallets, everyone expects that ETH will overtake Bitcoin in the future. I think Bitcoin has taken too long to be number one and the crypto market needs a new king

in fact everyone knows that Ethereum is the most useless token that was ever created! people only use it to either make profit when it pumps or create ICOs and scam others.

Well said, though exaggerated. I'm annoyed by the fact that nothing special in the functional sense bitcoin for six months keeps in the price drop almost all of the crypto currency. Therefore, I personally would like it to change in some way. We do not yet have a normal crypto-currency market due to bitcoin.

Do you have some kind of a survey result to prove this is really the people's choice?
Or is this just another thread to pump up the price of Ethereum for trading purposes? Or is it bitcoin that you want to be pulled down?
This wont work. They know it. This is a lie. Ethereum might have some good moments but it is far away from bitcoin.

Its all depends on the person to person, some people will think ETH is the strong coin and believe in it. Some people believe in Bitcoin. Both are my favorite coins in the cryptocurrency market.

ethereum is preferred by many investors and will be much more valuable in the future when looking at its project. investors want to see ethereum as a rival to bitcoin.

If you hold a lot of  ETH, then I  guess you will hope for ETH to overcome BTC at a short period of time  if possible. The growth  of ETH is almost like how BTC got its rank up so its possible. With  XRP getting so much attention  though it can also slow down its  phase and then there's also EOS and NEO trying to grab  some team to  go over their side.

I think this goes to many factors. One of those factors is that of the smart contract offered to newly established ICO to operate freely on ETH network with less cost. This in comparison with Btc is kinda different. Even if one has to look at it from the point view of running transactions through Btc block chain is kinda exorbitant compared to ETH.
However, we must be objective here, ETH taking over Btc won't be easy at all, even if a possibility will happen.

Ethereum has its many good functions that can certainly overcome bitcoin soon. Its feature includes, ethereum has a low transaction fee compared to bitcoin. Ethereum have a high transfer speed compared to bitcoin. And ethereum has a smart contract that bitcoin doesn't have.
