I'm rather new to this, does this happen often that the pools shut down and run away with the coins?

Just wanted to stop by and say how much I love this concept. Mining is exciting in and of itself, but adding this lotto to it just makes it awesome. I always wanted to be a Lotto millionaire and now I can actually achieve that!

Honestly any pool that does that should be shot.  I have run multiple coin pools over the past year and anytime I have been forced to shutdown a pool I give all my users 1 week to cash out.  That is the proper way to do things.

hi,
i'm mining with 250kHash/s at hackshardgaming pool

got 45000 LOT so far (mining there since it was opened)

so the estimates are wrong because of the lottery aspect of this coin.
the pool found many blocks with more than 50000 LOT as reward.

happy mining

HackShardGaming pool has been moved to http://lot2.hackshardgaming.net/public temporarly.  You can connect to http://lot.hackshardgaming.net/public within the next 24 hours and it will be the same site.

Having trouble now.  Not sure how to connect.
stratum+tcp://lot2.hackshardgaming.net:3333 is able to mine though, but doesn't show up on the website as a connected worker.

You don't read my posts do you?

The pool is heavily DDoS'd and due to this unavailable.
I am working since hours now to a) solve the problem and b) install additional DDoS protection

The network managers of my hoster are a bit pissed due to the DDoS occured so main part at the moment is discussing with them as all new anti-ddos systems are already ready to go.
Just waiting for them to acknowledge my effort for i can do a short test if everything is connected properly and then we'll be back up.
Unfortunately i cannot tell how long they will need to give me the "go"

I didn't read it, sorry. In that case it's ok, we can all understand that and all I can wish is a prompt solution. Good luck and looking forward to mine there again!

MASSIVE issue on my pool. A ton of transactions got sent twice which caused my wallet to get emptied.  I'm being forced to wipe all the data off the pool to reset it.  I'll have the pool back up in a few minutes.  As long as you had auto pay on you should have got your coins. Else I'm sorry guys but it stole everthing out of my wallet. Here is a screenshot of the wallet page showing that I have negative 857k coins if it was to pay everyone out at that second.

So, where are my 8000 coins?.... so, you are sorry? WTF!

So its your fault - you guys try to get the bounty for the first pools, so you set up crappy pools in a fast way (on other pools i see links to litecoin chains - and such a crap is paid by the bounty givers) - you got 1.000.000 coins bounty... seems so you have enough to pay for your fault...

Look dude. Its not my fault that someone decided to abuse a glitch while I moved the files and double withdraw.  I did my best to prevent that and obviously failed at it.  I restarted the server to fix the issue.  If I see any extra coins left over I will put a post up asking for what people had and I'll try my best to fix it.  I think theres like 1 or 2 blocks that hadn't confirmed yet.

that sucks somone would do that.

do you still have the data of who is owed what? maybe I can donate some coins?

Sincerely, I don't mind what's happened. I had 8000 coins (more or less) in your pool, and now I don't have any coins. You are the administrator, so, give me a solution, it's quite logical I think.  Tongue

I don't want the coins, but I don't like when an "administrator" says "oh, I have lost all your coins, I'm sorry..."
