Lee the problem is he is getting overwhelmed. Its a bandwidth issue ultimately. You will still get around the same amount of coin. At 16 diffficulty you get 16/1 share at 128 difficulty you get 128/1 share. It will make his pool more stable by increasing the difficulty.

You sure about that?  It seems quite the opposite happened and that my belief was correct.

Yup Lee vardiff helped you out by increasing difficulty for others and leaving it alone for you. Your understanding is correct! =)

Here we go.  I guess my super hashing 70Kh/s alone doubled the whole pool's previous hash rate.  Go back to bed and try again tomorrow. =)

1. You contradict me and say without a doubt and as a matter of fact it is a bandwidth issue bc of difficulty set too low.
2. You were blatantly wrong and it was brought to your attention.

Just like in real life, that type of person runs anything they touch into the ground.  
You can not help someone when you do not know the answer and make one up.  You can only mislead then.
Someone ask which way is north and another confidently point them south...not a probably or a maybe, but that what they say is fact.

By doing this the bandwidth problem was resolved. I don't even know why i'm responding to being trolled but whatever i got nothing else to do other than watch these lotto coins pile up.

I am of course on your pool now devianttwo.
I need 16 difficulty. That is perfect for me. I get a 6 shares a minute. 64 difficulty I get 1.25 shares a minute. soo horrible lol
Maybe it would help clear out a lot of the smaller shares more quickly for you then? I don't know about the pool operation at all though.

I just read through the whole topic and I saw some people say they think our vardiff is to much.  The reason you can easily get to 1k is I have it set to try and keep you at 1 share per 30 seconds.  Since we have a ton of people on the pool and most are at the max vardiff range and are getting more then 50 shares per 30 seconds I had to make it average everyone else at 1 share per 30 seconds.  It was either that or Shut the pool down since the server machine can't handle anything faster then that. 

On a side note:

HackShardGaming pool mined a total of: 33 Million coins since yesterday.  20 Million Coins where mined since I went to sleep after I fixed the vardiff.  That tells me that everything is working exactly as it is supposed to.  I guess I can go on and change one line that makes it stop lowering changing your difficulty every 60 seconds and make it 120 but will that really have a huge effect on you? I don't think it will.  I think everything is setup exactly like it should be.

http://lot.hackshardgaming.net vardiff settings adjusted.  I decided to change the retarget time to 180 seconds.  You will now notice it not bouncing you all over the place if you are a smaller miner.

P.S. When I restarted the stratum server I thought my server machine was gonna blow up! it reset everyones difficulty to 32 for 3 minutes hahaha.  But looks to be a little better now.

SIDENOTE Until everyones difficulty resets you might get some lag spikes mining. it will auto resolve itself momentarly.
