Diamond now added to coinmarketcap.com: first estimated capitalisation $132,000!!!

This HAS to be one of the greatest coin revivals ever! Congratulations to the new dev team and whole community!

Great news! Thx gmg! We should work hard.

10 minutes later: DMD valued at $170,000 (and second most profitable coin at coinwarz.com with 5,000% profitability against BTC)

This is great!

We made it! We actually revive this coin !

Minar.cc pools are not running anymore, the domain was registered by someone else and I don't have any relationship with the new owner.

Got interested in DMD a while ago.

Here is a new permanent node: 193.68.21.19:17771

I am also trying to set up a new pool (stratum, vardiff, mpos, 0% fee) at dmdpool.digsys.bg, but for some reason hammering it with 1000+ kh/s for half a day at the current < 1 difficulty could not find a block. Might be just bad luck. I believe the pool needs to find few blocks in order to be finely tuned. Won't refuse some help Smiley
But if you decide to try, please do not forget it is not yet fully operational.

Added.

If this continues, tomorrow we'll certainly see DMD's first million dollars cap.

So excited!!!

Seeing a lot of 0.1 buys way above selling. Not sure how long this is gonna last, I got out with over 300% profit so I'm happy but I still hope it goes up Smiley

I've never used Diamond before I downloaded the wallet 3 days ago (16th Dec), so I'm using the latest version of the wallet (1.02) - but I still can't sync beyond 5566 blocks remaining. Are there any other fixes apart from 'restart the wallet' (which I've done many times) or download the latest version (it's the only version I've ever downloaded)?

Go to diamond data folder and delete all files except from wallet.dat and diamond.conf. Try to run again Diamond-Qt.exe

Ok - so I'm trying this now.

Also, as far as adding the permanent node, do I just add a line to my diamond.conf file like this:

addnode=193.68.21.19:17771

Thanks.

Yes. The common opinion is that you should not add very many such nodes, one or two are enough.

I also wonder how valuable is the irc node finding feature? If you don't find enough peers, you might try to add "noirc=0" to your .conf file.

I was getting a max of about 12 connections, but i'll try the 'noirc' option to see if that improves.

I am having weird experience with getting stratum to work with daemondd. The stratum side still reports Internal Server error, yet the daemon from time to time manages to execute AddToWallet. But, sometimes I get this

12/19/13 20:14:40 ThreadRPCServer method=submitblock
12/19/13 20:14:40 keypool return 3
12/19/13 20:14:40

******* exception encountered *******

Can I get some help from developers on this? It seems an internal server error. Since I am running this on FreeBSD and did not find the relevant functions, I commented out the body of the stack trace function like this so it at least compiles.

void LogStackTrace() {
    printf("\n\n******* exception encountered *******\n");
    if (fileout)
    {
#ifndef WIN32
#if 0
        void* pszBuffer[32];
        size_t size;
        size = backtrace(pszBuffer, 32);
        backtrace_symbols_fd(pszBuffer, size, fileno(fileout));
#endif
#endif
    }
}

So, no stack trace for now..

EDIT: Found the proper library and now have backtrace -- for the next exception.

Thanks. I started mining DMD yesterday and been having trouble with the wallet and network. Trying to sync from start but it's taking ages. I hope the new client helps.

You can always pool mine (there are now three active pools) while you wait. You don't need a client or synchronization for that.

Anyway, as difficulty increases with price, solo mining may not be a very good option soon, unless you have strong hash power.
