Do you guys have a better idea to avoid theft in the wallet?

Security is one of the most important thing. For me to avoid theft or to avoid being hacked I carefully checked or examine the URL if it is not a fake one. I also use trusted wallets with less issues and sometimes I transfer my token  immediately from wallet to exchanger, convert it then cash out.

The purse security should be in the first place, if you are going to work in the crypt.  Do not need to use a lot of wallets.  Better one is proven.

Nowadays they have many scammer, so i think one wallet is enough for us to used, to make it secure. So we can monitor from time to time.
And if the wallet does not support this or that cryptocurrency? And it is profitable to work with this cryptocurrency. Maybe there is a wallet that supports most cryptocurrencies and is it proven? Tell me please.

Wallet security is the most important thing, especially because many hackers are currently eyeing your wallet. give the best for the security of your wallet because it involves the assets that you have. Avoid suspicious sites to avoid phishing sites.

Do you guys have a better idea to avoid theft in the wallet?

Split your holdings. Majority in a secured cold wallet and a small stack on the mobile/desktop wallet for daily purchases.
Or: Use a hardware wallet with seed being backed up in multiple secured places.

The key is to reduce the possible attack surface to a minimum.

And use your common sense. BTC's not only get stolen through digial/physical theft, but also through shitty ICO projects.

Shitty ICO project that wants you to install a software to connect to their network and receive worthless coins/tokens. Been there. Good thing I have some small knowledge about Operating Systems so I get to use virtual box and stake it in there. Such a waste of time.
I am wonder why you're asking such question? We all are aware that everything on internet is not secure anything can be steal by hackers or unknown person. Hackers are greedy and hungry for money they'll surly steal our money too.

Most reason why we needed to activate and extend any possible resort for securing our wallets is because of this hackers, without prior securities our assets are not safe and can easily sucked by people who loves grabbing things that didn't belong to them, so if given a chance to have more ways to
secure your investment, better to keep being updated and always find knowledge on how to protect your money.

That's why wallet security is too much important. Its just like a robs in banks and to protect our money block chain just improve their security to make our money more secure.

I once read for security wallet,
this is just for discussion how to secure the wallet. I do not think there is a security system and there will be no theft in the wallet.

If you choose your wallet or phone software, you need to be extra careful! Remember that bitcoins are stored inside your device. If your computer or phone breaks down, your bitcoin is gone too! Thieves can also take your bitcoin if it gets access. Consider the following tips to avoid losses:

Perform regular backups regularly
Save the backup on another device like in flash or another computer.
Use the encryption feature
With encryption, each transaction requires a login with a password. This prevents thieves who manage to gain access to your computer.
Do not forget the password
Losing a password equals losing your money! Wallet does not provide a password forgot feature.

If storing to another computer, don't ever connect that to the internet if the sole purpose is just to keep your bitcoin. And don't be so careless writing your private keys into a device that's connected to the internet as well, you don't do that if you want to protect your wallet.

As much as possible, dedicate a logbook/notebook where you are going to write all of those important necessary details that's related to your wallet. Traditional way of keeping records and information by just logging into a notebook is still one of the best and much better if you can put a protection cover to that notebook/logbook too.

For securing your wallet, you must pay extra attention. You never keep your wallet info in all and decentralize it physically. I mean that do not keep your keys on your computer. Also, you must activate all given features for security. Everybody reads that will say what’s the new thing in this advice? But remember, everybody makes simple mistakes intentionally.

many people are still complicated to store their private keys, even many are still entrusting in cloud storage, I don't understand why there are no password options or at least change the keys in person, this is very dangerous for users. At least wallet security is still very safe at this time even though the competence of its users must also be large.

Of course, it is very important, crime in cyberspace is very high, and the most disadvantaged is us if we underestimate internet security... I once lost important data because I was not confident with the security of my device and network, from that I learned to care about security, so that my wallet was safe...

These tips are actually helpful and is necessary for us to secure our earnings. In addition, we should be wise and smart enough to keep our private keys in private. There should only be one trusted person who will know about our private key.

Wallet stores our most precious coins and if wallet is not save and hacked, we are left with nothing. This means that we should first make all the efforts to secure our wallet as rest of the things depends on how secure and safe our coins are.

Install hardware wallet and do not attach with phishing site!
Most of the hackers are sending us a site where we can get free tokens or cryptocurrencies. But that is just a bait, probably those person that will fall to the bait will lose their wallet from their possession. I always let myself away from phishing sites because I know that if I will enter to the wrong site private keys will be stole to my account.
