The problem, as I see it, is that all of us on the dev team are volunteers, with only the coin itself as incentive to our time. In my case, that is enough in most ways, but I have to pay the bills of a growing family as well. I can't speak for everyone, but we're all busy people and doing the best we can in our spare time, of which there is precious little.
If you team didn‘t give up,tell everyone what’s the plan for EAC please.When the new wallet will be released in the website? How will you do for raising EAC prices? If EAC's price lower and lower,many people will leave away. I like this coin,so I hold the eac,I hope it will be better and better. New wallet should be released any time. I have to double check, but I think Linki said it was done. I know it's been in testing for a few days now. I think the best way to raise the price, right now, is to use the coin to buy silver. Also, to promote it as a payment method. We have definitely NOT given up. You know, you can just create a big hype around it.... but it is with a risk. Buy silver, nice, but maybe you need to sell this silver at a very big discount, so that people notice. WAIT A MINUTE, when i have to buy this silver in the shop then it cost me 10 times more in the shop!!!! I want those EAC, i will buy them on Cryptsy and people will really start buying and the price will go up. Organize a workshop. You can easily hire a room where you can put 100-1000 people in, and you start example EAC and how to buy silver. Give people information about cryptsy, help them with setting up a account. Yes, he will sell the silver with a huge lose, but then it is his opportunity to buy for 20BTC or even more at current prices, even by up till 10sats, and then your workshop starts, so many people will be interested as they will say, dammit, so cheap!!! They will start buying a lot of EAC. The guy that bought everything at 10 sats can then easily sell his coins at 50 sats and this will cover more then the lose that he made when selling his silver. All you said is soooo Greedy, like for your own good (investment) , and surely its very short term which is u will use the windows to sell at profit for any coin u have , the point is.. whole POW and coins(except BTC) is messed up big. |

It is greedy, but it is also marketing, good marketing. In fact i don't own a lot of coins 10,000,000 coins is my value, so... i'm sure that there are a lot more people with a lot more coins. Sell plane tickets at the price that is 50% cheaper, etc, people will start using their coins, so it is something that only big people can do, people that have 100,000,000 coins, or even more. |

Why can dev not just change the coin and put it back in the picture. This was THE BIGGEST coin in January. Everybody was talking about Earthcoin, Earthcoin was the biggest coin, it would replace Dogecoin. and there are sooo many things that they can do. What did Panda do? Changing from mining to POS, price jumped by 1000%. If i was DEV of Earthcoin, then first of all i would buy a lot of coins and then change it to POS. his work will be rewarded with Huge profit,the coin will increase in value, and dilution just stopped. Why can we not try to get listed on mintpal,5 times more volume. crytpsy is like earthcoin, it is dying. |

The only sensible action would be to stick with the original specs and get merged mined with litecoin.

We could all add an 'Earthcoin' signature at the end of our emails. Yahoo does no allow me set images as signature, so I made this signature by enriched text:
earthcoin THE PEOPLE'S CURRENCY
Every email I send is already an EAC advertisment.

The dev did too little and too late, while the coin world moving towards PoS and X11, many new coins coming out with new PoW/PoS scheme and true random and anonymity, like DRK, JPC, SUPER, MRO, XC, WIN, QCN etc, the EAC stuck in the old world of scrypt, and dev team can't even deliver it for months. So it is clear that EAC is dying... |

It is up to the vendors to set and update their Earthcoin prices on Earthazaar.com. These don't update automatically to reflect any exchange price as Earthcoin is the default currency.
The store does however update prices of other crypto-coins (bitcoin, litecoin,dogecoin) based on the exchange rate to EAC.

Fewer and fewer people to lose confidence in it, I think it will die in the near future! |
