the pool I'm in keeps finding orphan blocks - is that something to do with the pool, or just bad luck, or the same for everyone? Sorry if this is an obvious question - newbie alert change the pool We haven't had any orphans since I posted...do you think this is pool-related?

I split my mining between Doge and Earthcoin Not a bad idea. You have both the earth and the moon covered. Haha, clever! I would expect Cryptsy to hold their horses, I think it's better for the coin mid and long term.

Ok guys, this is supposed to be a kind of ethical coin with a planet earth/humanity theme... The marketing is nice but is mainly nice pictures and words today, and it still costs a lot of electricity to mine those coins with GPUs. What about some sort of environmental action to support its theme?
Could it be the very first carbon-neutral coin? (with some of the premine invested in solar or wind energy to compensate) Wouldn't that be a terrific message? Other ideas? Happy earthcoining

Mining is pretty tough for earthcoin though, so price should increase by a very significant amount once it's on major exchanges. We'll see. They're very quick to add coins these days.

Paper wallet generator now available: http://www.paul-bradley.com/earthcoinwallet/generate-wallet.htmlhttps://github.com/Paul-Bradley/eacpaperwalletThose who hit this up early might see no GPG sig etc. because I'm still finishing it up. Please can people test with an EAC or two (please be cautious as I haven't validated it as working yet, just send 1 EAC or something) and give feedback confirming it's working OK for them. eieBPT5RpYqvT3drkSTc7Z4y9P5Qu7BKc9 EDIT: tested and working at my end. Would really appreciate more tests before this gets more widely used though, so please take a minute to check it out. Translators appreciated too so we can get this all fully working (at the moment, the translated versions don't create the proper branding).

Are there any plans for an Earthcoin forum? Or one that I'm not aware of - I must confess I haven't read all 95 pages of this thread
