Yeah, Maverick Wallet works on 10.9. The other not.
The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Are we gonna get the coins?

I'm leaning towards no.. but I would be pleasantly surprised if I were wrong

3 days of mining and and I didn't set auto payout.. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF***************K!

This is on their homepage of the eu pool. It doesn't say anything about paying losses.

EAC EU POOL RESET, POSTED DEC 24, 2013 AT 06:03 BY SNEAKYBEAVER
Earlier today while adding a new pool on our European machine, we accidentally configured our cronjobs incorrectly. What this means is that the process which queries the database for payments and then sends them out accordingly was accidentally run twice, causing payments to be double sent and our server wallet to be emptied. All of our users without autopayments set up (and many with it) lost their entire coin balance stored on the server. We know what caused the issue and it was entirely our fault. Nothing was hacked. We have taken steps to ensure this never happens again. Everything is now running smoothly and will continue to do so.

Sincere apologies, ~The HSG Team

**Our current MAC wallet is not working as it should.

The one above seems it will work with newest OS and older OS versions of Mac - can we PLEASE get a few Mac testers to verify this one works so we can update everything officially please Smiley

Tips will go to testers/those that verify it works.

We also have a new website coming - and I'm hating the .biz extension so I might get a new .com and use that as the front end/brand contact point, and the.biz just to download files.

New wallet seems to work fine with 10.9 (Mavericks)

Bounty's paid out for the linux and new mac clients, and tips given to those that verified and left addy's to send to. If I missed you please PM.

The linux client: Someone mentioned people may not know how/what to do with the conf file etc.

Quick little bounty for anyone that cares to make a README.txt file explaining the process for absolute noobs to understand will get 1000eac and we'll include this in the .zip.

Thinking out loud:

Would be nice to actually have the most noob friendly tutorials on this possible. Anyone that does camtasia type videos and has good voiceover/speaking experience, we'll put up 75,000eac for a good vid or set of 3 vids explaining the absolute basics to noobs to crypto. *Don't do this until our new site/domain is up though just PM saying you know how, and you can do it.

Something literally like "welcome to EarthCoin - quick explanation of what crypto is (literally 2 sentences while screencapping our site) - Let's download the wallet for your OS - click - you'll get a .zip that you will open - CLICK - etc.". Walking them through the process of getting a wallet, installing/opening it, explaining not to open the dameon but the qt, letting it sync, then actually sending/receiving the coins etc. Our wallet is lightning fast and transactions are often <30 seconds sometimes <10 seconds.

You can even upload to your channel so you get the views - we just want good tutorials of the basics for noobs.

Thank you - more to come.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, we may have android/ios wallets faster than we thought - but for backup, if you know how to make these (and bb?), please PM so we can have a plan B.

16 orders of one of them - interesting watching the prices still flux Smiley

EDIT AGAIN: Vipah, just went back over older pages, THANK YOU kindly for your efforts, going to show a token of our appreciation. Thank you kindly to everyone that has shown good faith and is supporting this in any way shape or form. We will be randomly rewarding people without them asking for it when we see good natured souls doing something nice for us.

This is my first time setting this up, so forgive me for any errors. I tried to get this working on Abe, but am running into overflow issues (related to transaction messages). If someone can help, please PM.

Yes, that's my ebay posting.  I figured it was a good place for non bitcointalk people to see Earthcoin and get some outside publicity and set a general price (which I'm actually surprised to see people bidding on.  I put up a best offer to see what people would be willing to pay, but as you can see, they are paying $30 for 5k.

Of course now that I say that there will be 100 Ebay listings underbidding me.

Based on the trade chats there is demand... people are trash talking EAC and then asking to buy it in lots of 1M.  The people I speak with all agree that there is the potential for EAC to trade at 100k / 1BTC within the next 6 months.

Very cool!

Someone from the dev team just wants me to quickly ask:

"Great. Ask him if there's a way to display all in a page, like 50 blocks per page? We should give him 100Keac or so for doing this for us"

Smiley

Thanks for the response. That would be my next goal,  after I get some sleep tonight :p

Also, I want to add the ability to search by address somehow; still figuring all this stuff out.

Yes it already got dissected and ripped apart a few pages back, a few times:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=379236.msg4092909#msg4092909

Was a bit surprised when I saw this. I mean we can easily open up 10 altcoin review sites, make it 50, I have money, I have huge teams of designers I can outsource to, I have a fiverr account, if I wanted I could anonymously sh*t on every single coin on mass PR with reputable looking assets and make ours the glowing #1 too if that was my goal ORP is big business I see RIGHT THROUGH this effort of his. We don't want to compete and will never go out of our way to put others efforts down. Good luck Mr.Hazard no harm done.

EDIT: This was a response to someone above that has now removed their message it seems.

Is there finally more than one working pool for this coin? So far all the rest were "wannabe" pools with horrible block rate.
