EAC difficulty is risen by 3 times since 10hours ago. Price has risen around 25% only. Price should have gone up at least 2 times by now. Someone is selling hard. I wonder who... difficulty rise is immediate prices rise in a delayed fashion. totally normal. especially since none of the bigger exchanges have EAC yet... so it's a bit early for conspiracy talk I just love those responses, but im just going to keep ignoring teenagers rage on me and respond to you alone. I agree that its early for making conclusions, but those are just pure facts. Take a look at DOGE or QUARK or some other alt coin as example. Difficulty rose just as fast, but demand rose way faster. DOGE had huge bubble. At one point it was 3 times more profitable to mine and sell, than any other coin in crypto economy. This hasnt happen to EAC and will likely not happen. The fact is that something is holding EAC price down. We dont know the reason. Other alts dont always make a fair comparsion, but have to take some variables to make a logical conclusion. Im sitting on EAC myself since it was the most profitable coin for couple of days and has fairly good base for being a great coin. I would like price to go higher. I just leave my personal emotions aside when it comes to profitability calculations.

Does anyone know where the huge network hashrate is coming from? I'm not getting many block rewards at eac.hackshard.com in the past couple of hours.

Not sure maybe solo mining. But the difficultly has gone up from around 40 to 120+ today alone.

EarthCoin uses a 365 day period. It will start with 10,000 coins per block, and it varies in a sine curve with amplitude of 2,000, with a period of one year. Every 14 days there will be one day with X2 payout. Is this applied in any mining pools? So on that day I will be awarded double... Or I have to stick to SOLO Mining on that day ? One more question, Is it possible to see somewhere actuall block reward? Thx

Theres no need to solo.

Dev is going to reply or update OP regarding which days/calendar are going to be the x2 and x5 days, maybe we can get someone to make an ez infographic out of it when ready. Should be interesting to watch those days especially the x5 .
