I think we have to remember that this is a special time, new year and all.
Just like in the real stock markets, volume should be lower and that will make the prices on all coins swing (up or down) with no really significance.

Usually the prices go to their "natural" place when the festivities are over, in a couple days.

Im gessing 2014 will be a great year for Crypto in general, and EAC in particular

CAT has absolutely nothing to offer. It is an exact Bitcoin-copy, except the SHA-256 it has scrypt. EAC has faster confirmations, transaction message and a big cummunity plus committed devs.

As much as I feel for this coin, I canät help thinking it may be a mistake to avoid the larger exchanges and promoting the stance that we should avoid trading at this stage.

We have seen the launch of two other coins since EAC was launched and I am afraid all efforts put into EAC by me and fellow EAC miners are at risk of being lost.

I have watched Coinex, as that is the only echange were EAC is available for trade, and interest has fallen and this is never good in the beginning of the life of a new coin.

It is a drop by almost 40% the last 10 hours...

Should we be worried? Would the possibility of trading EAC at Cryptsy and some other exchange make any difference? I don't know, but I can't help reacting to my gut feeling that this may be the end of it...

And would someone PLEASE remove the shitty CAT commercial posts?

I really dont think that hitting exchanges early was/is a mistake. It helps a lot for coin to gain popularity. Plus it elliminates or at least reduces amount of people who have enormous stockpiles of coin.
Coin owners can start selling. Those who are willing to invest can start buying.
Price drop after initial bubble is totally normal. Theres nothing to worry about. If devs do good job then coin will be stronger in long term.

The flip side is that it gives more time for people to join EAC who otherwise might have missed the train.

Are the people expressing concern for fluctuations in EAC markets for real?
This coin is days old and has already increased in value dramatically despite having some very vocal naysayers ,
what do you guys expect 200% price increases every day forever?  
Or its a sign that you should get out quick.......lol

Actually I don't think that anyone posting here really is that dense , Just the same old infantile agenda driven posting trying to swing the market with propaganda.
Its a shame that so many people will resort to using these deceitful methods to try and claw a meagre profit.
The truly ironic thing is that using Propaganda and lies to  control and profit from another group of people is exactly the method used by the financial elite to enslave the other 99.99% of us ,and crypto currency is OUR ONLY REAL HOPE of taking back the power to control our collective future.

Focus on the big picture people if Crypto thrives as an emerging technology then we all profit beyond measure.

alz. The thing is that majority of people in this forum are here for profit. Clever ones will make some. Not so clever will lose some. Thats how things go.
People expressing their emotions in coin threads is unfortunately inevitability.

We are indeed being pressured now to get it on other exchanges, and will probably be on the usual suspects soon.

Having said that: It's rather fascinating for us to see that we're already where we are on coinmarketcap.com - surpassing a lot of the coins that are heavily established. More importantly though, is the fact that we are only on smaller exchanges and still managed to get this much of a cap with this much constant 24hr volume change since being listed.

Other people coming in here to advertise their coins = +1 thanks for the flattery we're doing something right (you got some of the figures wrong but that's ok I'll assume it wasn't on purpose ).

2014 is indeed going to be a great year, the true tests for us all will be the lull's and down swings like the rest of the major coins go through. Up 120-200+%, down 50+%, repeat. Not sure what to expect with ours and what time frame but you gotta admit for a week and a half old coin starting from scratch and small exchanges - this is pretty remarkable. We just helped coinex and coinedup get tons of members, biggest volume on their slates, and corrected with still having 3M/top20 status.
