What's your opinion on buying new emerging coins that are not yet on top and cost less than 1 dollar?
How do you decide whether they have potential to grow or not?

I believe that if we need cryptocurrencies, that does not mean we need more than 1,000 currencies.
The price of a currency does not matter as much as it offers to society or solves a problem.
Before you start investing, you must have clear answers to the following: Read the code, its advantage, the developer team, the solutions it offers and future vision. Otherwise, it is a useless version of Bitcoin."The success of Bitcoin does not necessarily mean the success of its alt."

if a coin has a high potential it is very feasible and if you have a large capital and buy lots of coins at the price of $ 1 it might be profitable

we must read the road map and white paper of the project it will help identify the right platform. Mainly we must check the developing team then we should analyse the reputation of this project. So everything is perfectly good in the project it is worth to invest in the platform.

The face value of a coin does not have a direct correlation with it's potential IMO. There are enough shitcoins that are worth more than 1 dollar per coin.
You'd just apply the same criteria as with other coins, look at the people behind the project.

Ask yourself if that particular coin has a reasonable development plan and goals. Try to find out what its potential demand will be. How many people would be using it?

The price is not matter to buy the coins,if it does have good potential future usage then it can be worth to buy,who know maybe the price will hit the moon in few years. The potential level of the coin can be evaluated by the usages of that coin,it has fair usage over other coins then it can be the coin to invest and also need to check the development team of that coin.

Yes, it is worth buy coins under $1. Price doesn’t matter, what matter the most is the project itself. I usually look at the white paper, product, roadmap and development rate to determine whether it is worth buying its coin.

You need to look at the overall Market Cap of the coin. This is the price of the coin multiplied by circulating supply.

By just looking at the price of a coin you can't get the real value of the project itself. For example, if a coin has 100 billion circulating supply, having a price of only 50 cents would make it larger than every other project out there. But if a project has 1 million circulating supply with a price of $1 each the project is still extremely tiny, and theoretically has a ton of room to grow. You need to look into the project and see if it's something that you believe can actually grow.

my way of distinguishing a coin that will have potential is to look at the white paper and look at the coin or token sales process, it would be worth it if I buy a coin at a price below $ 1 as it could give a higher chance of increase, especially in the long term.

Anyone who knows me here knows I don't support shitcoins, as they're mostly cash-grabs by greedy and unimaginative developers--but that doesn't mean you can't make money with them.

Stuff that's dirt cheap, though?  It's usually that way for a reason, and the reason is that no one's buying it.  You are taking the chance that no one will ever buy it, which is a huge risk.  If there's no market for a coin, there's no chance to make a profit.  Sounds reasonable, right?

So I'd advise you to stay away from the cheap shitcoins.  There's a chance to strike it rich, but only in the way you could win the lottery--a one-in-millions chance.

Yes why not this is really worthy to buy coins below 1$ value as everyone remember that tron was under 1$ but peoples have make much money from it, Ethereum was below 1$ when launch but we can witness the price of ethereum where it is, Just remember that we can make huge money from the coins below 1$ value.

It depends if that coin has the potential to grow in the future. Of course you would need to do some research on those coins below $1 of course then you decide if you want to invest that coin or not.

I like very much how you explained it. Totally, right - there no no sense to have the coins that are useless.

Right. The main point here is to choose the right one. Who knows maybe in like a year this $1 will get by several times more Wink

Thanks for your opinion. Agree with you, especially concerning the project - I believe it should really solve some challenges for people. Otherwise, there won't be any practical use and demand for it

You can't really predict if the coin have potential but in my opinion it's wise to buy a few of current worthless coins as there is a chance to see them explode in the future (not all of them ofcourse),the main strategy is not to bet on 1 horse Wink

EDIT:I just want to state the exemple of Raiblocks/Nano that was only worth 0.01$ and exploded to 30$

I think it can be worth but depends on which coins you buy. That is very crucial. Nowadays, most of the new coins are crap. Finding a good coin under $1 can be a tough task but it is worth the effort. I also think returns on cheaper coins can be much more than the coins which have already gone high.

Hmmm ! I think it's not worth it because it is so small amount of money to start trading. The more investments the more chances to gain big profits.
