I mine velocity coin, I was one of the early miners, but a bit later I realized that velocity was a COMPLETE QQ clone. Everything is cloned, just block reward was a bit differrent.

I switched to QQ now. I'm sure that a custom miner is a huge advantage of that coin. I feel that greedy lazy miners crash all the scrypt altcoins using multipools. Multipool can smash any scrypt coin right now. But to mine QQ you have not only to download custom miner, but also tweak settings/find good ones.

I will support QQ and I hope it will grow a popular and healthy coin

However, QQcoin has a fantastic community and that is the most important thing. The code itself is not as important as the community.

I like the attitude of the qq people and the community more. So put 5 of my rigs on QQ.

You won't see QQ people in the velocity thread keep going on about qq.

We often see velocity in the QQ thread.  I hold some velocity but prefer QQ.

It is not the code that causes me personally to support QQ over Velocity it is the people, they have a lot of class.

Velocity coins spam campaign on the day of release stopped me mining it. I see no reason for another 2 scrypt jane so i choose QQ, you choose velocity. It's as simple as that.

There is nothing wrong with velocity, based on the same strong code as QQ. So no point arguing which is best or first really. TIX and applecoin coin came before both of them.

You are right. I come to this thread through "Search". And hate when people try to promote coin through lie. I just wanted to correct them.

But it looks pretty strange that Velocitycoin was announced 22.12 and release date was declared on 29.12. And on 28.12 a new coin (QQcoin) appeared. I don't understand why they did that. QQcoin devs knew about that but nevertheless made pretty similar coin with same algo without any announcement severl hours before Velo. But it is an open-source world... everyone do what he wants. And that is why I still on Velocitycoin.
