What are some of the goals that this community has for MoonCoin and how many developers are working to meet these goals? Smiley
Bitcoin addresses contain a checksum, so it is very unlikely that mistyping an address will cause you to lose money.

People should have bought in at 11 while it was really cheap.

I should have bought at 1 Satoshi back a few days ago...  Argh Roll Eyes

I taught it would do like pennies (CENT).  It was looking pretty much like it, with tons of sell at 1, no buy...

Could not have gone a low as CENT, cause it has not that disastrous stake issue

however CENT is rising again these days (after stake fix) ... amazingly

Maybe, but the number of MOON in circulation is still just ridiculous.

CENT is not rising...  For all practical purpose it's dead.  If you're talking on the very closed market of BTER, in it's little walled garden where you can't get CENT in, and can't get CENT out, then you should not even call it CENT...  At least BTERCENT, which has as lost all attachment to CENT.  Roll Eyes

Hello everybody Smiley
I am happy to introduce Altdice to the Mooncoin community
It's a dice game pretty much like the early version of Satoshi Dice

http://moon.altdice.net

To play, choose your favorite odds and send any amount to this address, anywhere from min bet to the max bet.
A number between 0 and 65535 will be picked up for you, based on your bet transaction ID.
If this Lucky number is below the target number of the game, then you win your bet amount * Prize Multiplier which is paid out directly to your wallet.
If you lose, you get 0.0001 MOON back to your wallet.

The game requires 1 MOON confirmation. 98% expected payout. 2% edge house.
Play max bet and win over 1 million MOONs !

Have a try :-)
Send any amount from 25 MOON to 870000 MOONs at 2Usje15bZ78VxscVSKeRXLbELz9hStkkFS => This is the 85% chance of winning game address. It pays out x1.153 your bet amount to your wallet if you win.

I wish players the best of luck there and to have a lot of fun at http://moon.altdice.net :-)

Feel free to send a PM if you experience any issue with the game.

13 - 14 satoshis seems fairprice for the mooncoin, there is however one worrying thing to take in mind.

Network hasrate dropped about 90%, blocktime is about 15 minutes now if I remember correctly it has never been this high, mooncoin is an even slower coin then bitcoin atm. With 107 blocks to mine in current difficulty, miners are leaving, its now taking 28 hours to the next diff change. Mining moon doesn't even outweigh power costs atm. I expect more miners to leave, which could possibly bring us in a dangarous situation. If bocktime nears 30 - 60 minutes the coin might become unusable as a 6 confirmation transaction will take 6 hours then. I myself will continue mining, as I've been since the start Smiley.

Is there any possibility the dev changes diff rescheduling to 1 - 5 blocks?

IMPORTANT:   Guys, 2 days ago I found I was unable to login to Cryptsy due to 2FA somehow becoming enabled. Once fixed by Bitjohn of Cryptsy I found in the settings menu this foreign mobile number: +4796667243

Upon googling it I found that it has been used for receiving auth codes for many websites, Cryptsy included! http://sms-verification.com/rec/%2B4796667243.php

Now this concerns me because 1. Someone had full access to my username, password etc. to be able to go into the settings and add their own number and authenticate it. 2. This happened within a short time of the Mooncoin Wallet virus threat.

I don't make a habit of clicking on strange links or downloading hookie software but I DID get stung by the Mooncoin wallet virus and I DID lose all the coins in it.

Please beware that there may well be more to that virus threat that we think. Check your Cryptsy accounts and other sites of importance, change your passwords if you downloaded the wallet in question, and enable 2FA with your own mobile number or using Authy App ASAP.

Not trying to scare anyone but I know if it can happen to me then it can happen to others as well and part of being a community is looking out for one another. =)

Best course of action is to check all new wallets thru virustotal.com They don't all fail. And always use 2FA to prevent exactly what happened to you.

Never. I do not use WIFI nor have a Wifi network at home. Only use LAN protected by Zonealarm and Avast.

I had recently thought about the same idea,(even posted on reddit) but i guess the idea was already in motion. upon hearing about it , i offered my services and coin to help, but received no reply. kinda bummed, but at the same time that just gives me more time to invest my moons elsewhere!

Out of curiosity, could you tell me where you downloaded the infected wallet?  Huh

Did you get it from the official link?
