First, a new Mooncoin thread, then the Mooncoin Wikipedia page.

About false-positives of Bitcoin.Miner in a Windows wallet,
the paper tiger that scares potential Mooncoin users:

http://www.2-viruses.com/remove-bitcoinminer

Processes:
 %AppData\btc.exe
%System%\miner.exe

Files:
 %AppData\btc.exe
%System%\miner.exe

Registers:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]   btc = "%AppData%\btc.exe"

It is so easy to make sure that there are no any of these files or processes or run a command regedit and see registers,
but certainly only if people have enough courage to launch a wallet.

Yes, it is a small town in Ireland and Mooncoin supporters know about it since 2014.
There were even suggestions to establish Mooncoin headquarters in this town.

We are still waiting for your Greek translation, sir.

Edit: miscomprehension,
translation is done, thank you.

Thank you for your post.
Can you guarantee that your compilations are safe and are really compilations based on https://github.com/mooncoin-project/mooncoin-landann?

Also please post your Mooncoin address to accept Mooncoin donations. If you don't have an address yet and don't want to wait for the wallet's synchronization,
you can generate it at http://cointopay.com or at http://bleutrade.com.

I can assure you that all compilations are based on https://github.com/mooncoin-project/mooncoin-landann.
Wallets are compiled on a clean Windows 7 Hyper-V machine.

Let me know if you have any questions regarding the compilation.

My Mooncoin address is : 2WMxostnc6cUS4WnK3hVbmDT3QvXDsrCqi

Yes, fast synchronizing and a built-in real-time difficulty chart, that's great.

thank you,
there is no a new ANN thread yet, it is the Mooncoin official thread, but op is outdated, as an original dev has not been seen since 2014,

where to buy Mooncoin: bleutrade.com doge market, label:MOON.

Online wallet: cointopay.com, mobile wallet:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinspot.mobile
multiwallet provided by coinspot.com.au,

if you are able to compile by yourself: https://github.com/mooncoin-project
if you want to download a wallet compiled by another person, see above: walletbuilders.com an independent service, they have compiled Mooncoin wallets recently,
also please protect your PC with firewall before using any wallet, and encrypt your wallet with a strong password before creating an address to which you are sending coins.

currently ALL Windows binaries (including one that you will use or compile by yourself) will show VirusTotal false positives of Bitcoin.Miner,
a request has been sent to VirusTotal Ireland-based company to adjust their service,
if you don't like it, use Linux or Mac wallets, they don't have false positives.

I cannot get the link to load.  It opens a window then does nothing.  I cannot refresh the window even.  This is for the windows walletbuilders one above.
I just bought the moon coin on the exchange now I am nervous I have no wallet to transfer to.  I will try it in another browser.  Maybe that is it.
*EDIT* just got it with other browser.  Will let you know when I have it synced.  Thanks!

An outdated original post with no one having access to change it isnt good. Mooncoin_foundation is so active, can you start a new thread instead?

subcrypto,
we keep asking people about a new thread, only 4-5 including you voted for it, waiting for more opinions,
as on here common users decide everything,
besides, before an up-to-date wallet from walletbuilders had been made, Mooncoin wallet didn't synch (people had to add nodes manually), it was outdated, and indicated much more Virustotal alarms (about 20), now imagine that we started a thread with an old wallet and people asked: what? it is infected? doesn't synch? outdated Litecoin core?
And the number of posts in this thread shows that Mooncoin is a very popular coin, only several coins have more posts than Mooncoin has,
a new thread will not contain a lot of posts at the beginning and an OP will be of 2016, newbies will think Mooncoin is just one of lots of new coins,
so a new thread doesn't mean advantages only,
now barrysty1e https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=526220 is working on an independent version of wallet, and some other tasks are still in progress.
Edit: barrysty1e is trying to find and remove or replace a part of code that leads to Virustotal false positives of Bitcoin.Miner.

Work has begun on the first full history book on a individual cryptocurrency.  Titled "Mooncoin - Philosophy of Decentralization". the book will cover the history of the coin up until a fixed future date.  A preliminary cover design has already been created:

Crypto Books will keep the Mooncoin community updated as progress is made.  Thank you all for your support.
