I think, borders should play no role. To the Moon! 
But we have to think about existing legislative regulations in the single countries of the world, as long as they exist. And keep them in mind, if we want MOON to become a success.

How would the winner be selected? And how would it be a fair and equal opportunity for all to have a chance to win?

This could really only be done in a public draw with a notary and all that, because people invest spend money for that. If it wouldn't be like that, it would leave "enemies" of MOON with ammo. Or even disappointed people discrediting Mooncoin perhaps, because they didn't win. So I would really not recommend this kind of promotion, unless all necessary precautions are taken, to make it absolutely transparent and being conform with the rules in the country where it takes place.

Even if it is not illegal in certain countries, it would be problematic because of the above mentioned reasons. And since Mooncoin is international, there can be participants who originate from those countries, but possibly don't know about it being illegal in their country. It's the same with online-gambling.
It would be better, if a single sponsor does this alone. Then the participants don't have to invest money - what really makes the difference for being possibly illegal or not in some countries.
Maybe one should consult a lawyer for checking this, before going live.

Hi Coinflow.  Ive been a Moonite since it has reached the price of 27 BTC and bought in around that time and continued to do so as it fell back to 3 LTC.  After the rise from our single digits, we will have to unload some of those that are trying to reward themselves from that buy in.  This is why its not always great to have a great spike, because it could result in a dip.  We have regulated quite well from the rise and eventually will get through the sale orders of maybe 2-3 people that are attempting to sell all of their coins.  Once we transition their coins into other hands, hopefully 100s to 1000s, the coin will rise, it will be more sturdy.  We have to go through certain phases before getting back to where I think we deserve to be, which is the BTC price index.

You and I have had plenty of chats how to work this coin for the better from the Reddit days.  Im happy that you took the reins by the horn, keep it up!  Im holding and watching everyone sell their share since BTC.  Ive put over 100k into this coin and don't plan on selling.  Maybe one day ill harpoon a few of these fellows that think they are something special feeding their own egos.  We have no room for these types of people, I prefer the coin in the hands of the many.
