I just got my Antminer today and it is working fine. I had to simple questions I could not find an answer to: What version of BFGminer supports it? How can I run Antminer and ASIC Block Erupters from the same system? Any help would be awesome. Thanks.

You have a quite extreme hardware error rate...!! I'm running mine with 0981 and in less than 12h I get this: cgminer version 3.9.0 - Started: [2014-01-13 21:42:48] | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | (5s):10.34G (avg):10.87Gh/s | A:102450 R:0 HW:2298 WU:148.1/m | ST: 2 SS: 4 NB: 75 LW: 152113 GF: 1 RF: 0 | Connected to mmpool.bitparking.com diff 10 with stratum as user | Block: bdc4fc94... You are getting 3.04% on yours!!! I have nothing else than the original heatsink and a fan blowing through them (not from the top but from the side). How are you getting your U1s to run at full speed with your BEs on 3.9.0?? What is your command line or .conf? When I try running my U1s and BEs together, the U1s run just 20% or so faster than the BEs on my win7 box. TIA! Hi!! Well... my command line is just: I run cgminer from the configuration file in /home/myuser/.cgminer/cgminer.conf { "pools" : [ { "url" : "pool1", "user" : "user", "pass" : "pass" }, { "url" : "pool2", "user" : "user", "pass" : "pass" } ] , "expiry" : "120", "hotplug" : "2", "log" : "5", "no-pool-disable" : true, "bmsc-options" : "115200:20", "bmsc-freq" : "0981", "icarus-options" : "115200:1:1", "icarus-timing" : "short=90", "kernel-path" : "/usr/local/bin" } And no, that's not a typo! :p I'm running Linux. No zadigs, no usb drivers, just complie, plug and have phun!!! But without more jokes, I believe you could improve the speed with a configuration file similar to mine or, with the parameters I have. I believe in windows they would be: cgminer.exe --bmsc-options 115200:20 --bmsc-freq 0981 --icarus-options 115200:1:1 --icarus-timing short=90 I'd apreciate if someone could correct me on this.

I would advise against even bothering with 2.2, I tried it on mine and results were unstable to say the least!!! cgminer didn't even want to recognise most of my devices, and bfgminer had ridiculous error rates (compared to 0 errors when solo mining an altcoin @ 2.0 overnight) 2.0 is still a pretty decent overclock imo considering the price of these things! Are you definitely using an up to date version of nwools' bfgminer or Luke's release from yesterday and the following in your command line; --set-device antminer:clock=x0981 (for 2.0) --set-device antminer:clock=x0A81 (for 2.2)

hey cs2000...
I'm using your instructions from several pages back.... thanks for the download.
Will this work with the older USB Erupters as well? I have a mixed setup (49 port hub, gradually replacing old erupters with AntMiner U1s).
I did a test with 1 erupter and I don't think it was hashing with it.
Well, I ran mine with 3 ants and 2 Block Eruptors but whilst it worked, it wasn't stable. The BE's kept starting and stopping and the Ant's weren't mining at full speed. Perhaps BFG miner hands them better but id say to avoid it to be honest., bearing in mind it would take 6.5 BE's to reach the 2GHS that 1 single overclocked Ant can create, you only need 8 Ant's to surpass the speed that 49 BE's can hash at.

gotcha! Yeah, I'm currently selling of my BE's to use the $$ for U1s.

My U1s (4) keep on trucking, but my BEs now stop within an hour of a restart. My 4 U1s hash slightly faster (at x0981) than my 22 BEs, so I'm also thinking it's time to pawn off, er, sell my BEs and acquire more U1s... EDIT: Looks like it was a hardware configuration issue with my hubs...

2.2 shoots the hardware error rate up no matter what on all my miners. Anyone have success without volt mod? Resistors arrive tomorrow so we'll see how fast they go with more volts.

Block erupters are still producing 7.5/1 return over power cost, that's about another 10 weeks of useful hashing at current exchange rate.

Anyone else seeing this error using bfgminer 3.10.0 with the Antminer U1's? It appears to happen (at least for me) on the 8th and above device, only the first 7 devices get work...

Can anyone help me I've search all over and cannot find a solution. BFGMiner will not detect any of my devices. None of the -S flags I've tried have worked. Using this: --set-device antminer:clock=x0981 I get an unexpected command line error. I've unplugged and replugged all devices. I can't figure it out.

I've tried every config file I could find, all the flags for calling out erupters or ants gives me: "unexcpected extra commandline arguments". Even with it says no devices detected. I have cgminer running them in 4 separate instances, just so I can have them on the same machine. I'd love to have one miner to run them all... and less HW errors as well.
