why do different pools report extremely different total network hashrates
for example
tips.notnull.org is currently reporting a total network hashrate of 2061Mh/s
while
fedora.poolto.be is currently reporting a total network hashrate of 7811Mh/s

I have been mining at tips.notnull.org and got 1.9M in 2 days with my 3.4MH/s. Mining this coin looks like totally unprofitable?]

More miners or difficulty increased, but my estimated hourly is now down to 170k

ATTENTION PLS GUYS

We really need to do something with difficulty !!!!

Mine'Dumping KILLING US !!!!

IF Difficulty could adjust correctly and not allowing to mine and dirty dumb ! We would have BTC MARKET by now. Price would be huge. But diff is too low and it is easy to mine and dump

Where is the creator? Can we do something and relaunch PLS !!!!!!

Same thing happend to LOT.
Miners dumped it and kept the prize damn low for a while. After few weeks it bumped nicely !
So HOLD and you gonna be fine. Not nice what´s happening right now but a relaunch? Don´t know.

I prefer it not be on Coinwarz. It is on the exchange that is all that absolutely matters.!!!

no he is right. LOT only rose up because doge was 100x more profitable to mine. dream_miner is right. this coin need a kimoto gravity well difficulty in order to drastically remove instant mining of big pool.

dogecoin raised the standard profitability of ~$20 a day for mining at an average of 1 Mh/s. it used to be ~$10-14 and that is when the coins in crypsty were low . now that doge is profitable each coin had some breathing space and rose a bit. but once they surpass doge coin they become a target of 5Gh/s - 10 Gh/s thrown at them until its all sells and the profit price drops down to below $15.  what will happen when all of the sudden the difficulty increased very high and the big hashes leave. they will leave this coin to dry. Are you going to keep mining at $0.1/day profit? No, you won't and this coin will get stuck there. just like the rest of the coins that did not prepare for the highlight. Look at cat coin.

Go ahead . look at all the coins. LOT was 15 satoshi . then it rose to 50 when doge was at its peak , now LOT is back to 30 satoshi because dogecoin is also down.

The enemy of every coin is the instant mining of big pools. The whales. You can't stop these whales. It is their right and it is part of this business we are in. You can make each coin's profit less dynamic , that switching from one coin to the other would only be slightly more valuable. hopefully this will making switching around pointlessly.

Therefore, the best working solution is to have a gravity well difficulty on each coin. if every single coin has this, it will still keep the coin value up when big pools decide to move to an other coin. not to mention that the big whales will have a hard time deciding where to move when all the sudden coins become profitable again after each blocks.

think of the basic annalogy
If you are at a store and you want to buy a pack of gums at $2 but you hear that next door is selling it for $1 , you walk out and got to that store to buy cheaper.
However, if you are at a electronic store and are about to make a purchase of $1500 for a flat screen tv . you hear that next door the same tv is on sale for $1498 . You most likely will just stay in the store you were at and buy it at $1500. Why? $2 profit is not so much important all of the sudden. it is insignificant compare to what you're spending. but yet you ran to save $1 when buying the gum.

imagine top 10 profitable coins with only +-$2 range.

this is the only solution. : ) cheers . hope i typed it clear and easy to see my point

if you want this coins to survive, any coin. you will need to make it hard for big pools to come and suck it dry.

What's your hashrate? I'm confused, cuz I keep getting about 1/10 TIPS/Day of the predicted number on tips.notnull.org pool? Just wondering if pool is working ok?

got tired mining at http://fedora.pcfil.com/ There fee structure is very strange. I had my payout at 1000 like most coins I mine and didn't realize they were taking 200 from every payout.

Switched to multipool and it seems a lot better.

Value is dropped expected and it is very good in a long term.

People who can't mine it but can buy from current undervalue, these create bigger community to own this coin.

That's the future we are heading now.
