Actually, if the coin falls below 20 Litoshi, I would be very happy, because I would buy even more.
It is a wonderful opportunity! I need more tips, I NEED MORE!!!!  Grin Grin Grin Grin

If you really want to boost TiPS price you should buy some votes on MINTPAL, this exchange has a really nice volume and will help a lot

The people coming in this thread and saying TiPS is dead are trolling.  If you don't like a coin, participate in a thread of a coin you do own.  Even if that were true, why would you take joy in others losing money?

We do need to start making more progress asap though.  Weeks are passing without major improvements, and this is a lifetime in the world of altcoins.  Dropping prices present an opportunity to buy in cheap, but without advancement the price will continue to plummet.  I really don't see any leadership from the TiPS team, and the lack of consumer confidence is the reason for the precipitous drop.

Pictures of people in hats really don't sell the coin, especially if its TiPS, not Fedoracoin.  I still don't think most investors understand what the name of this coin is.

I don't even know, I think there may be improvements, but the devs hang out in IRC. There needs to be someone from the devs, kind of a superviser in charge of the forum here, who connects the activities of the community and the devs. Like a messenger if you will, because right now, there is absolutely no communication. No one, really no one knows what work, if any at all, is done on this coin. And if the community even doesn't know, then how should all the other people in crypto know?!?!
We need a dev here asap. Not everyone wants to be in IRC. Bitcointalk is important also, it should not be abandoned for discussion and the working together of the community.

I completely agree.  The development of a coin is just 1 part.  The marketing and communication with the community and equally important.  I sold all my coins a few weeks back because I didn't see any participation from the TiPS team.  Last week I bought back in with the lower prices and promises of big improvements and better communication.  Nothing has happened since.

Most investors are in this thread, so thats where the TiPS team should be.  I fear this is quickly becoming a missed opportunity.

Yes, that's true. If we had rebranded this coin to tips, took Fayens Logo, promoted the coin in a joint effort, pushed the writing of news articles, wow, this coin would now be at 10 million market cap.
But if it's going on like this, I don't know. There definitely has to change something.

Coin could be huge.  Potential alone doesn't mean much.  This thread is full of hyperbole.  A marketing person needs to be hired immediately.

Agree. I think Tips has fallen behind other newer coins due to lack of (or perhaps not exist at all) marketing.

Darkcoin is ahead of Tips for anonymous feature eventhough we are the first one introducing the feature. For tipping service,I think Reddcoin is currently no 2 behind dogecoin and ahead of us. Look at its subreddit which currently has more than 3000 subscribers eventhough it is just less than 2 months old.

The community manager who is suppose to 'connect' this community to the dev team only just introduce himself in the forum and then 'disappear'.

I totally agree.  I bought back in when I saw there was a community manager and projects being worked on.. Crickets since then.

Call it tips only. lose the hat unless its an upside down one. Use faynes logo. use greens and grey as brand colours. (green represents new, growth and money in the biggest tipping nation)

use this website url http://tipscoin.com/
and this fucking sub reddit http://www.reddit.com/r/tipsCoin/new/

yeah I'm pissed off because from 50ltc to now I've LOST 497 litecoins waiting.

Its so simple change the the website url, change the colours and use fynes logo.

AND WHERE THE FUCK IS INVISABLE

These are decisions that would have put us on a path to a top 10 market cap.  Very simple.  Its amateurish that none of these things are being done.  Don't they like making money?

500 litecoins?  Thats a lot of money.

Actually the reason we are staying on the old website and the old subreddit is that there is still work to do, specially on the website (that's why the devs call for help is stickied on Fedoracoin subreddit).

So I assume they wait for the work to be done in order to make a proper and global announcement.

But I understand your impatience. Not your anger though

That sub Reddit looks really nice. I just subscribed.  I made site for a landing site for new comers.  myne.tips  and I want to create something for TiPS out the this site myfedora.tips.  Let's do what we can ourselves until the devs get there stuff going.

Everyone there are things we can do without waiting on the dev team.

repost as nothing has happened since last week.

This works
http://www.tipscoin.com
We have this
http://www.reddit.com/r/tipscoin/new/

We have the logos, personly id go for shades of green as it represents money in the biggest tipping nation. US. Also the biggest christian country, so I have no idea why the euphoric atheist E logo is the best choice.
