Is there a XPT port for maxpool?
Not at the moment, but it is feasible to add it. Are there any XPT miners for max?
Yes, arOpenCLMax. I'm actually trying it since cgminer crashes on a Frankenstein rig I have.  Tongue

Allright, will be adding it in couple days. Though, did you try running cgminer just on AMD and cudaminer on Nvidias if you have a mix?

Yes I did. Cudaminer picks the GTX760 well, cgminer (or even sgminer) crash perhaps due to lack of system ram: just 1 GB. I need to find more DDR2.

if it's too much trouble, don't bother or provide your own MAX address so I can point some hash there

Edit: nevermind, it's working now

372 working fine for me and my 7950 but i have been toying with settings though
because it's not very efficient and neither was the other older version..
problem is too many (in my opinion) shares are being detected as stale or rejected for being stale.
not sure if its just a side effect of the card being able to hash faster than my other miners with vardiff or what..
but my cudaminer and my cpu miner are working faaaar more efficiently and not wasting hashing.
my cudaminer is one giant mile long screen of steady non stop accepted shares.
and my cpu miner is pretty much the same.. then my 7950 using all kinds of settings always has that issue.

what ya all think ?

Finally threw the towel in and gave up on CPU mining.  5 days & .2027 maxcoins later.

Switched over to Amazon servers with NVidia Grid K520 cards & can't get the cudaminer to work.

I connect via terminal services and run the cudaminer_start bat file (yes... have put my wallet info in there) it looks like it's trying to run but it gets stuck in a loop.

The following "cudaminer -1 K600x16 -a keccak -o stratum +tcp://maxpool.1gh.com:17333/ -u -p x   Ooops"

then "goto loop"

then repeats.

Anyone have any idea why?  Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Yes.

Here's what worked:

Code:
./CudaMiner/cudaminer -a keccak  -o stratum+tcp://erebor.dwarfpool.com:3339/ -p x -u mymaxcoinaddress -l K1000x32 -C 1

I have done the same while the difficulty was still much lower.
I got it to work in the end, and had it running for one night.

But then - 0.65 dollars / hour is more than you will make with the coins.

Do the calculations.
I got it up to 85000 khs cudaminer + 5000 khs cpuminer (5 threads only not to harm the GPU harvest)

If, however, it works out for you, consider donating some to me :-)

Great Work, I have been testing the new cgminer 3.7 with Win7 64, R9 270 and Catalyst 13.12. Runing without problems for about 12 h.
Hash rate and power consumption are similar to the 3.6.6 Version but he amount of Coins dropped. Did i miss a change in difficulty ?

Please take a look at mining history on your stats page, important is your percentage of work. If that has changed significantly over the last day when the pool and network hashpower was constant (give or take, at least there were no 5x-10x jumps), something might be wrong.

Happy to report that 3.7.3 seems stable on my two configurations, i7 and amd (as described on previous page). Tested about 1 hour each.

I get 3% and 1% higher hash rates with the 3.7.3 for exactly the same configurations as with the 3.6.6.

@ drakoin -

Thanks for the reply however I do not belong to the dwarfcoin pool.  Were you trying to pull a fast one on me?  Wink

What would be the advantage of using them instead of 1GH?

I believe the important part in his post was the '-l K1000x32' thing, and he just copypasted the commandline that worked for him without editing Smiley

get rid of the loop crap..

you only need one line.
also verify the settings on the config for cudaminer and the build etc.. make sure it's correct .. see cudaminer topic for that.

also anyone have any thought on what i said ?
i want to know if anyone else is getting the same thing or what too..

@ spoetnik

Thanks for responding.  Removed everything else, ran & still nothing.

Searched for cudaminer here and got a bunch of garbage.

Can you or anyone confirm that all I need to mine are the 4 files found in the \cudaminer-2014-02-09\x64 directory that I downloaded from the 1GH main page last night?

They are:  cudaminer.exe, cudaminer_start.bat, cudart64_55.dll & pthreadVC2.dll

Thanks

and here is the official page for cudaminer if you want to try and get it and look for help there too..

is the proper nvidia drivers installed that support Cuda ?
you said you were trying a service service for this mining right ? sorry i forgot what you said before already on previous page Sad

To speed up payment tx processing http://max.1gh.com  min immediate autopayment raised to 0.5 MAX

https://twitter.com/1ghcom/status/433570292602904577

If your balance is less than 0.5 MAX, the payout will be executed within 24-72 hours (minimum 0.01 MAX).

1GH -

I am a member of your pool and I have a question about withdrawing funds.  When I was using a cpuminer, I was able to move out some of my mined work.  I've since switched to a cudaminer and can't see to do the same using the maxcoin-qt file I used before.  Can you point me in the right direction of how I may?  Thanks.
