For the impatient, here is HVC cgminer version that works on 1gh: https://github.com/reorder/cgminer_skeinIt currently only works with GCN cards (or so I believe). No binaries are available as it is a WIP, and I will not provide support for this version. Please configure with './autogen.sh --enable-heavy --enable-opencl' and run with '--heavy --vote 1024' (or your preferred vote). Best intensity setting seems to be 3 for all cards, but you may have luck with higher values. Please add http://spaincoin.org/ ! and remove auroracoin where do you mine spaincoin ? p2pool has about 30% DOA but better mine to wallet like waiting for ddosing little pools and money will be in motion nowhere )) but i would've been mining here, 1gh

Aurora was a major frustration, it seems like multipools get all the scrypt hashpower leaving nothing to smaller pools. We'd rather keep 1gh a pool for unique algo coins.

On 1GH un-authorized user... ps: Haven't tested solo since wallet can't sync..

I downloaded those files and when i try to run it all i get is "Cgminer is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program of batch file." There is no cgminer application file in any of the files listed there. How can i get this to work please? Thanks.

did you run "./autogen.sh --enable-heavy --enable-opencl" and then "make"? maybe you need to run "sudo ./autogen.sh --enable-heavy --enable-opencl" and "sudo make" instead, im not sure about that"
after that you need to go to the folder and run something like "cgminer --heavy --vote 512 -o stratum+tcp://hvcpool.1gh.com:5333 -u YOUR-WALLET_ADDRESS_HERE -p x"

Seems the OpenCL driver doesn't like building for non-GCN cards (as reorder suggested). I imagine it might be a register use issue.
Failed to build the kernel on my 6950s but running fine on my 290x's.
PM me if you'd like a windows build for 0.1BTC.

But I don't seem to be finding shares any faster than a crappy Azure VM that gets 80Kh/s, despite the Mh/s being reported by cgminer. Are you actually finding shares faster, or is there something odd about the speed reported by cgminer?

But do see https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=392322.msg5744577#msg5744577 post. And this applies not just to the version I linked to in my other post; I compiled from source myself and get the same dubious results.
