Yeah... the difficulty is up to 60 already, and it was around 12-14 12 hours ago. 80 Giftcoins sounds around right for that amount of hash.

Something odd is happening here with this coin.

So the dev launches a new coin, and he premined 1 %, starts the coin with a low difficulty so everybody jumps on board of the insta-mine boat. so all the miners mine a bunch and start selling them, nobody is buying them except for a few people that offer incredibly low prices compared to the miners that trying to sell them.

and what does the dev do to promote this coin, to build a demand for it ? so far absolutely nothing. no that is real strange, because if he wants to make some money from his pre-mine he better be promoting this coin, or he going to make nothing from his pre-mine.

so what do we have here, a dev that made a coin and has already abandoned it, or is this a big bear trap that signals to the miners to dump your coins now, and only after the big initial dump will the promotion kick it ?

The following list of 73 users are getting their coin refunded right now from yesterday's defunct bettercoin GIFTCOIN pool, because 1) they found valid, confirmed blocks (which were not orphaned) and 2) they had their wallet address in the new pool.  If your name is not on this list, please log in to the production pool and enter in your wallet address.  The remaining users who did not find valid blocks, but submitted successful shares during rounds will be credited at the same time as the remaining block finders who are missing a wallet address tomorrow. Yes, we could dig a handful of wallet addresses from e-mail, but this is inefficient since we have quite a bit of messages to parse through.  

P.S. Make sure you are using the up-to-date Giftcoin wallet!  Thanks
