I have looked through the posts and just wanted to clarify something.

The pool you have posted already, that is for GPU mining right?

And then you will post details of another pool that is for CPU mining??

Just wanted to make sure because I have just signed up for Pool you mention in posts already and do not want to be kicked out of it, for going over Hashrate limit.

Cheers

Ian

Come on guys, just read the homepage of the luckyminers pool.

"NOT UP YET., POSTED DEC 31, 2013 AT 16:22 BY JOCHEM
This pool has been brought up to take immediate action on NYAN coin.
Wallet is not released yet so no mining yet. Will be released in 48 hours.
You can register an account though.
payout: prop
Pool fees: 0%
Happy new year!"

The dashboard is showing block count and hashrate from other altcoin. The website is up in that way only to allow people to signup, it's not mining. 0 Active miners - 0 Pool hashrate.

Yep you are right. It is tracking another coin, just to test the wallet. Better be prepared for a launch than an utter failure right?

That's right 50kh is just too low. The limit should be @100.

My GPU does 260ish KHs and my CPU does 1KH. Huh Huh

One can use GPU and set the intensity to just under 50KHs thus allowing one to carry on using one's computer CPU as normal for everyday tasks.

How can one stop others solo mining at higher KHs, is that even possible?

What the hell does NYAN stand for?

I suppose that 50kh/s limit is per worker, isn't it?

So in a more capable CPU you can limit the number of threads per miner instance, so in a 6 core CPU doing 80kh/s you put 2 miner instances with different workers each one, 3 threads per instance= 2 x 40kh/s.

Am i right?

It will unleash the higher hashrate if possible, depends on how the coin works. Why slow down and left behind?
