they said the wanna give that to to community, for giveaways and make it easier for ppl to earn in other ways some coins, like spreading the word and such, that is as much as i understood at least.

1) offer absolutely nothing new to crypto currencies

2) Are short term pump and dumps designed to take money from the gullible

3) Are blatant scams with large premines.

For those comparing this to Dogecoin, it was not premined at all, it was started as a joke, not as a pump and dump scamcoin. I think it was the lack of shenanigans around it is what made it balloon up.
But then again, catcoin had a really terrible launch, I stopped mining it when every pool had its own blockchain, and the developer posted "I gotta go for a few hours" during the launch. It was just such an epic fail of a coin. I thought it was failed, but WTF it actually got listed on some exchanges? So I guess no matter how many logical reasons that you can think of why a coin SHOULD fail, doesn't mean it will fail. I'll probably mine Nyan at launch for a little bit then stop, then sell them if it gets listed on an exchange, in case people really do accept having yet another blatent premined scamcoin.

Theres nothing wrong with solo mining. Pool mining from the launch with a 3 coin block payout, in addition to a 37 MILLION coin premine makes this pretty terrible, imo.

I did the same thing after the catcoin launch and still look at it as a joke coin. Every coin launch since Dogecoin has been getting blasted by hashpower because people don't want to miss the next Doge.
