Just wanted to update people.  I have been talking to a few people recently about possibly ressurecting electric.  It may take us a while before we are ready but when we are ready we will hardfork the coin.  We ma change the reward system up as well.  all previously mined coins will remain the same.  stay tuned guys. Coin isn't dead yet!

So anything mined already won't be useless? That's good to know. Look forward to hearing any updates. Good luck!

I mined on launch day and I can assure you they are useless. I have a pile of these things that deviant dev launched and then ran away from, and then came back, and then ran away from again.
