Guys - i have dropped the minimum difficulty on the pool down to 16 (may reduce further later) so you should all find it a lot easier to get shares accepted. The historical data on the blocks page is going to be off as it's all calculated based on the OLD high difficulties. I'll be doing a major code update on the pool over the weekend and will clean it all up and make it a better place to be for you guys. Enjoy Nut

Thanks,
With the new n-factor i was getting an unusual high number of rejects. I will try to force a lower diff on the miner as well.

No prob. I think i'll reduce it further later on (maybe 8 or even 4). It's gonna take a while to mine the main network diff down though so expect a few bad rounds... stick with it guys, wherever you are mining, it'll be worth it in the long run! I need to go afk for a couple of ours but i'll be in full on MRC mode when i get back!

So what sort of difficulty retargeting does MRC use ? Am I getting this right that although the net Hash has dropped 300%+ we are still on pretty much the same difficulty and hence getting 3x fewer coins ?

same as ultracoin increase the tc to 16384,others remain the same and everything will be fine
tips appreciated 1JST4RD5pUVDTGbX6hV2ZmURvCY3a6m6Z5
This only gives me roughly 30mhash on I12, vs 80 on I11/thread concurrency 8192 my 280x --Nfmin 4 --Nfmax 30 --StartT 1389028879 --queue 0 --scan-time 2 --expiry 4 --thread-concurrency 16384 -g 2 -I 12 -w 256 -Q 0 -E 10 --lookup-gap 2 150K per 280x,with no hw Are you actually mining MRC with those settings or Ultracoin ? This gives my 150k per card yes but full of HW errors...

I wonder if there is a bug or we are missing something in the picture, because my expectation was about the same - n-factor rises but difficulty drops.

Other rigs with 13.12 give me that 150k yeah Yeah seem like there is a limited diff retarget or smth which is not listed in the specs.

Struggling myself, some rigs works with 150k no hw errors, while others dont. same catalyst driver on all of em (13.12). Edit: Seems i need to mock about with the lookup-gap For those getting hw errors on thread-concurrency 16384 and I12 try to set lookup-gap 3 (that will give at least 120khash on 280X)

Difficulty has changed. Our profit will fall?
Difficulty drop equals more coins which equals more or equal profit most of the time. Difficulty rise equals less coins. However block reward is slowly decreasing so you'll be getting less coins overtime and less profit but that corresponds to price of coin.

Current 500,000 seems. Fine?
