Dev should defiantly consider accelerating the reward drop maybe drops 200 every block instead of one. It looks obvious that some one is trying to kill the coin and the current miners are not like the early miners who actually care about MRC. Current miners are exploiting this opportunity to soak up all the mrc wealth and dump it... so sad, the devs should move to keep this coin alive perception matters in todays crypto world and no one wants to invest in something that's constantly losing value.
Seriously, all the new miners don't give a flying F*ck about this coin yet they profit the most off this coin.
Minnig is not profitable at the current rate. Why else would reduce the reward? Mining ceased to do?

Let them dump it. Go back to the core of MRC and its long term. I have a nice bunch of MRC and not getting nervous. Compared to all the Emu, Piggy, Flappy, 10th Doge coin out there this coin has very high potential. Lets sum up the pro's again:- Very fast transactions (i really like this part) - Its own exchange - Dev with strong mind and not getting influenced by crypto emo - Fair start, no premine - Safe, Secure, nfactor Have a little patience

Every coin thread has theories of some people wanting to "keep the price down" or wanting to "kill the coin". Imo most likely it's just someone who has lots of coins and doesn't believe the value is going to rise in the near future and wants to cut the losses. I hold 35M now and it's so little amount BTC wise that I don't care if it goes to zero, so I can't be bothered to sell but really, there's nothing happening in the near future that would indicate anything else but a slow decline.

+1 I read this bullshit about "mysterious investors/dumpers" in every alt-coin thread with lot's of bagholders. Usually it's a sign to left the ship which never prooved me wrong. I'm really hapy that I sold 50% of my MRC for 260 litoshi, I only regret that I didn't sell other 50% for 125 litoshi few days ago..Now I have the same strategy as You. It's so little now that I don't care and will keep it longer.

What more there should happen on near future?
People actually starting to use it. I think that has been the hope and aim for every coin and that's the potential in which the investors have been investing in. The exchange is coming somewhere in the future, and whether people will start using it remains to be seen. There are already usd markets for a lot of coins, for example c-cex.com offers usd pairings for all its coins, and I can't see that has helped the value of any of them at all. Also, there are PoS coins that you can't mine at all currently, and the value is very low still. Or consider Quark for example, very large community and very low block reward, still the value has been going down for months.

Of course you want that too, right?

Mining is not profitable because of the high block rewards, just think when the block rewards were low mrc was trading at .00000450 and ppl thought that was a crap price well look at it now... I know this is a good buying opportunity and who ever got to buy at .00000025ltc was a lucky guy. I guess my only problem is that the more this coin inflates the less value my early mined coins become. I have a huge chunk of these coins, I guess that's why I am willing to actually sell real gear for this coin because services is what really matters when it all comes down to it

Yield does not depend on the number of coins in the block. Yield depends on the demand for the coin.

This is all due to poor promotion. I tried and tried to convince this community to promote, but every time I got attacked for not being patient enough.
