My microCoin Wallet has more than 2500 transactions and it needs 15 minutes to start. Will it start faster if i create a new wallet and send the coins to it?

Well done for the exchange - long outstanding.

Don' forget to first honour the alt-coin vote on Crypto-stocks before just adding coins (might have to update vote) . ATH and PYRA  were not on the list but added.

When adding a new coin give reasons why and links to info, website, blog etc (added value over other exchanges)

It's important to choose wisely as it gives credibility to mrc.

Make a criteria list that coins must comply to before just adding such as:

- Reason for new coin been developed / What does the coin stand for? Something unique - not just a copy. Has the coin got a future?

- Are coins adequately supported by a credible development team?

- Communicated via a professional website, blog, facebook, twitter account etc.

Wish you all the best.

Mine has 20 transactions and starts about 10 minutes on SSD and uses 100% of one core, so this is just crappy wallet, not transactions amount.

OK, then so it's also not just me (the long start up time).  AFAICT this is a common issue with alt coins based on outdated client code with larger blockchains.  Would need to update microcoin core from upstream.

However, most altcoin authors (microcoin and it's upstream parent) do not properly fork and maintain git history when releasing new versions which is a shame because if you knew anything about git you would know that it also has a commit-diff-chain based on merkle trees and hashes (much like a block chain).  Alt coin authors over-and-over choose, most likely through ignorance, to throw away that commit history when creating their repo on github.

Without that history, it makes updating alt-coin code from upstream very difficult.

Sad.

What about all the coins that are added currently to the exchange and have not even part of the vote on cryptostocks?

You do a vote and ignore the outcome? Add the coins we voted for before adding other coins please !!!

We will add most voted and high volume coins too, but first we add some new one and maybe open leverage trading first.

With the next wallet update, the logo (desktop icon) with the "m" should be changed to the (better looking) logo with the "µ" so that we have a consistent line. Thank you Smiley...

I support - a new updated mrc wallet is required, with new smaller logo and faster loading time.

Note: The new mrc exchange looks promising with good support - https://alcurex.com/index.php/crypto/index/

There are simply not enough people who already know about microCoin and alcurEX.

I will buy more coins if i see that the devs promote the coin.

If we have interesting new coins on the exchange and devs promote alcurEX, people will automatically awake interest in microCoin as it has it's own market there Grin. So i think the better way is to promote alcurEX first and then tell people what microCoin can provide in the future Smiley.

First setp ist that we need official facebook page for microCoin and alcurEX...
