Is anyone else using the Antminer U1 in the Pool? I'm really frustrated by the low hashing rate and 40% HW error while using the modified bfgminer (2nd modification without mproxy). My antminers are hashing less than half of their normal hashrate (ca. 1Gh) and with the errors the effective hashrate is about 500kh each. When I solo mine with cgminer and mproxy they hash at 2 -2.2Gh each with a vrey low HW error (about 10%) it gives me an effective hashrate of about 7Gh's.
I'm begining to wonder if it isn't the Silabs Drivers that are causing the problems with the high HW errors and reduced hashrate. When I use the normal Windows Drivers and cgminer the problems aren't there. For some reason when I try and use cgminer in the Pool, it will connect with the Pool but won't register my shares or show up on the Dashboard. I'm a bit perplexed at the moment, I like mining with the pool but I can hash 4x faster solo....

we are going to provide a second gen modified cgminer too (with integrated mcproxy functionalities). in this way, if cgminer has better Antminer drivers, you should get a better throughput. estimated timing for the nwe cgminer release: 1-2 days

Please wait for 2nd gen cgminer that has all built in, I have tested nanofury usb's and they have the same symptom.

Cool.... , Thanks for the Heads Up. It's nice to know that it's not just "My" problem. Any Luck getting Medcoin listed on an exchange? I really like the Hybrid Scrypt idea behind this coin and you guys in the Dev. Team seem to be keeping on top of things. I hope it will start getting some Traction and acceptance.

the faucet will be refilled in a while, please be patient, thanx. also future giveaways will not take place in this thread, read this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=411624.0"Also, giveaways are no longer allowed due to the high volume of spam it generates, this is a discussion forum. Incentivizing people to post in your thread will result in your thread being locked." So if in real "need" of a giveaways, please pm us, thanx (or wait for the faucet and other links).

Nice to see somebody willing to trade with the coin and try to build a value....Bravo... Any of you Guys (or Gals) in the Pool live in the EU (SEPA Zone)? If so, I would purchace 5000 MED for a price of €0.02 each (€100 total), maybe it will help with the establishment of a base value for MEDcoin. I don't mine Bit or LTC so I'll pay in € via SEPA Bank Transfer. This offer is only made to people who are very active in this thread and have been actively mining in the new Pool. On another note, how about a Forum for the Mining Pool?
