Nutcoin is no premine. It was proved from 0 block start.

Nutcoin supply total 92 000 000 000 (92 billions of coins), but PoW total supply 15551996287 (15.5 billions of coins).

Where coins come from rest 76.5 billions ?

lol.. i never make the calculation before.
But, after i did, the coin supply only 15.552 billions in 17 years.

So the supply is far lower than it should be.  Shocked

That is nothing but good news as far as I'm concerned... Smiley  15.5B is still a crap-ton of coins... even if it grew to the market cap of BTC currently... it would barely have broken the $1/nut level.  It's fun to dream, but I seriously doubt we would ever be able to reach a market cap of even $1B unless there were some unexpectedly massive upsurge in active development.  Just being pure PoW via scrypt is like bragging about 'quadraphonic sound' in an age of 11.2 channel receivers.

We just should wait a few more weeks - if we dont hear anything from the dev after the block halving (and shortly after), we should think about either taking things in our hands or forget about this coin very fast

The price in exchanger is pretty alive for diying coin. Just lack of communication from dev.

Yeah, but it's more than just a lack of communication! The First post hasn't been updated for weeks! One of the three exchanges is offline for more than 2 months now!

There is a new mining pool - http://www.thenorb.com/

you can mine Nutcoin and Darkcoin only! This could be, if advertised correctly, a huge opportunity to get more attention on Nutcoin since Darkcoin is so popular at the moment!
There is a giveaway for miners. If the admin of the pool would help us to advertise Nutcoin by making a giveaway or lottery for Nutcoin, too - That would be very helpful.

By the way, was this pool anounce via a post in this thread? I didn't notice until I saw it in the Darkcoin thread.

@RouletteRun: Nice article!

Only 2.5 weeks till block halving! Get your cheap NUTs now!  Wink

Wow! I just checked the net hash rate 135.60Mh, there's interest coming from somewhere. I did make mention of the block halving on my Twitter feed a day or so ago, IDK if that helped, but it doesn't hurt.

Nice to see the Net Hash > 100 MH/s and the diff > 1.X !

The 40 sat buy wall is huge, so there is a good chance that the price will rise after the block halving in about a week from now!

Since Bitember is back online, i think we now have 5 working Pools:

http://nut.bitember.com/index.php

http://www.thenorb.com/ (Nutcoin and Darkcoin giveaway in 3 days)

http://nutcoin.miningpoolhub.com/

http://www.nutpool.com/index.php

https://www.cryptopoolmining.com/nut/

Did I forget one?
