lemonandfriesonetwo a or penambang, Can you verify that the code is compilable on Linux?
Yep.. with some modification (adding -ldl into noblecoin-qt.pro) I'm able to compile QT client on Ubuntu 18.04 Also on my Ubuntu 16.04 VPS I can compile noblecoind without any modification.

Thank you penambang I'll make a release of this wallet version and forward it to Fairglu. V2.1.0.0 Window client: https://gofile.io/d/V4NqiiGithub: https://github.com/c1nq0/noblecoin/tree/2.1.0.0This is a mandatory upgrade. Previous version will not be able to connect with the new version, because they can't accept the POW blocks. Version V2.1.0.0 is fully compatible with your wallet and sync files. Once Fairglu has modified the block explorer, we'll start creating POW block to get the chain started again (or sooner if someone is mining, but I suwould suggest waiting...) Thank you all for your cooperation. Next step, find an exchange...

Pos parameters have not been touched.
So now it's a hybrid wallet with POS 8% and POW M7M

I cannot compile it, how do you add -ldl to noblecoin-qt.pro? In the Makefile, Ubuntu is stuck on trying to build the files under "OBJECTS"

It stops now at "build error: bitcoinrpc.o missing" The build folder is still missing some files.

Maybe someone with linux knowledge can have a look at that.
btw have a check on the age and weight of your coins in the coin control.
Coins from 20 april might already have a weight of 0. So you'll have to make a new tranaction for them to yourself to renew the coin age.

We should have a way to repopulate people's wallets. Do we have anyone that has a lot of coins?
I'm letting the wallet sync, just a little to busy to sit down again with the boostrap. 5 Connections.

Wine emulator can run the Windows wallet on Linux.

Well the main current option would be to let your CPU mine. Difficulty is very low (at the moment). O don't expect it to be high for this coin any time soon. Second option would ofcourse be giveway here on the forum. This is alway possible. What amounts are you thinking about? Btw I've send any application to Soutxchange for NobleCoin. I'll keep you posted when it gets added to the New Coin request list. If someone else know other exchange, feel free to send applications.

Giveaway is not bad, I think I have a few extra that I can give out. Try https://www.unnamed.exchange they seem to list coins like Noble.

I wouldn't mind buying some for some DOGE but giveaways are good too to bring people in. We might just look for people who are going to stake and keep the network alive and therefore become interested in keeping the project going.

Some points:
* Give-away seems good. What give-way amount are you thinking about? 1000 / 5000 NOBL?
* Exchange: I'll try getting us in Southxchange.
* Coding: I'm an NOBL enthousiast, whose been playing with the code for a year. Mostly comparing code on github. I'm not someone who can make new things (not in this code). The biggest struggle I have right now is that there is no good example with a clear history (from -> to). Usually somewhere in the middle they rebase or fork. So if anyone can give any help, it's much appreciated. Currently it is setup in my github account. This too can change if needed... . My view is simple, I'm just 1 community member, but I will do my best.
* We still have a lot of clients on the old chain. This has stopped and will never go up again (it's stuck for good). We really need more nodes for this coin. So I would urge everyone to upgrade to the new chain. Checkpoint has been set to latest block of old chain, so that part is secured.
* For the future of this coin it would be interesting to make a new thread here on bitcointalk. This one is getting too long and we are unable to change the first post. (I think).

I have a bunch of computers for just staking but one is faster. I will set up the mining wallet on that one as a secondary mining wallet. I did get it to sync. I will see if detach database at shutdown (if wallet has that feature) let's me make two installs.

Here is other repositories I found, some of them have versions of Noble going back to 2014: https://github.com/NobleCoinNOBL/noblecoinhttps://github.com/jlcurby/NobleCoin/The original website is still up: https://www.noblemovement.com/

Does anyone have a miner/batch file now? NOBL is a M7M CPU mined coin. (same as XMG) So you can use the build-in miner from the client. In console: setgenerate true -1 -1 is all threads (you can add the amount you want, depending on you processor) I haven't gotten any other m7m miner working. Will keep trying. If one is the minimum then I'm getting 100% CPU usage. I don't like maxing out my CPU like that. Is there a way for it to not use so much?
