I've put a few sell orders on agx.io to try and stimulate some trade as I think the site is very nice, but is lacking users at the moment.

I'm still holding a lot of Noble but I have to try and cover some electricity bills now, been running 10 GPUS since January and haven't converted a penny into real money yet.

I've sent a tip to fairglu for the bock explorer.

No, it can't be you, doing such thing wouldn't be clever.
Anyway, agx.io has little volume and general direction is more into thirties than fortys....

NOBL market needs more stimulus.

Don't worry about the price guys, or temporary pumps and dumps!   All will be resolved when BTC goes to $4000 by July.  The alt-coins will follow, but by a 3X increase over BTC - so 3 x 4 = 12.

BTC is on a 7-8 months price cycle, and all coins are referenced to it - just crunch the data since 2011: Log of BTC price, over Log of Hashing Power, gives the best cycle indicators.

We are near... the next price increase should start around end of May, and peak 6 weeks later.   Not me, data talking - and we have over 5 years worth of that stuff to look at, but more reliably 3 years.

You have only 5 weeks to gather as many NOBL as you can... or any other coins for that matter, but my heart is with NOBL.

Ain't that some wishful thinking... $4000.

I'm not worried about price either, but a bit about volume. Dropped to 6 BTC on mintpal today.

Bitcoin is pump and dump every day, hah!

Really?

A pump and dump is usually 5X the base rate, going down to it in about 1 week. I never saw that on BTC.

NOBL has good features.  It will never replace BTC, but can complement it very well.  It has "real" people (the ambassadors) involved with it - not hiding behind anonymous "pseudonyms".  I believe that it is its greatest feature, compared to any other alt-coin.  The only other coins to do this are Bitcoin, Litecoin, and DogeCoin.  What a coincidence... the first three most valuable coins....

Alt-coins will have to understand that being "Anonymous" doesn't sell.   We need trust. We need to be able to see who we are dealing with. Maybe not at the transaction level, but for sure at the upper level, the dev-team that will maintain the network alive.

I didn't know pump and dump had a rule, but since you said it....

BTC from 10c to 1$ to 10c to 10$ to 80$ to 30$ to 150$ to 60$ to 300$ to 160$ to 600$ to 400$ to 1100$ to 500$ to 900$ to 350$ and now back to 450$
All within a few weeks gap.
It's a significantly larger scale but it's still there.
BTC is the ultimate pump and dump! From nothing, to hundreds.

Anyway, analyzing crypto like that is pointless when obvious and logical winners like NobleCoin are stuck in the pits when trash coins can garner all the attention and price increase just because a bunch of people think it's funny or are buying just to increase it. This isn't a company where you can analyze profits and trajectory based upon quarterly sales, it's a giant speculative pool or kids where whatever we feel like doing happens while splashing at the adults.

No, I have staggered small sell orders from 40-60.

Anyway, what is wrong with miners trying to cover some costs? I have had 10 GPUS pointed at NobleCoin for a couple of months even when the value was barely - if at all, I am in the UK - covering my electricity costs and I have sold only a fraction of my holdings even during the massive pump Noble has just had.

I mine NobleCoin because I believe in it and the cause, I hold NobleCoin because I hope the charity side of the coin develops until the coin can be used as a valid form of sponsorship, I then want to sponsor causes that strike a chord with me, using my decent-sized stash to do so. However, we all have bills to pay and I haven't yet cashed out a single penny towards covering 10 280Xs, PSUS to power them etc.

Let's positively stimulate demand, rather than criticising miners for wanting to sell a few coins occasionally - after all, selling coins can be a positive thing if someone who does not mine is able to buy some and join the NobleCoin community - if no miners sold any coins we'd be a pretty limited community.

Yeah, I agree and I'm not criticizing anyone Wink

I know that selling is important because it allows the market to find it's equlibrium point - it's called price discovery and without that we would have artificially pumped price without a solid bottom.

And OK, maybe I sounded a little bit rude, but if so, it's because I invested lately @ price 2x higher than today Wink
So, for me, selling any Nobles now for covering any costs (unfortunately, this will be a necessity in some near future) means an obvious loss of some part of my investment Sad.

And, since I don't have more fiat or btc atm to invest (I think many of us have similar situation because they invested before), my only weapon is patience, and some background works and ideas regarding spreading the word, creating some sites or services ... I would like to learn to do something useful in general (for example to create and maintain a website) and simultaneously do something useful for Noble community.

someone seriously driving price down on mintpal and pol following. I stopped them at 30 and have it back to 33 but i don't have much btc on there. They are owning the market because there is no buy strength.

There are so many coins atm and with the increase in mining rate more everyday. Buy and hold. Dont worry about price, the changes Rofo has lined up will sort things long term.  Zeta coin has been around ages, someone mentioned zeta on mcx and how to hold whike they where a few satoshis, as developments where on way. Smiley its climbed quite nicely.

nice :p

people should stop trying to ride the pumps. sell when it is rising, buy when it is dropping so you take profit on next pump.

Yes I agree,

look at BC today it had a dip at 24k sat, and now it's again at 28Ksat, someone that buys ton of BC on dips makes a lot of money on those rides.

when you look at BC it's like traders paradise cause once it gets low it always goes back up again, to go low again ( at the moment it's like that - could change tho )

It was a concerted effort to drive down the price and gobble up the tards that panic. I stopped it but the market went down quite a bit. I can't watch anymore so lowered my buys into the 20's for now.

trying to get some movement on agx but I only had a little BTC there as well and placed a few buys.

I bombed AGX with tickets this morning so I'm gonna give them a break.

Great Support At AGX, they respond immediately!

We need to build the volume there and the added bonus for buying there is nice. I didn't even realize it until I looked at my transactions. Doh.

Anyone have a bot? I'd like to set one up just to keep the price even across those 3 exchanges.
