That's the problem with these billion cap coins.

People set up these ridiculous walls at 2, 3, 4 satoshi and it means the coin never even gets a chance. Investors don't want to have to shell out 10 BTC just to move the price up by 1. Same with Beecoin, Carboncoin, Saturncoin etc.

Was mintcoin also not trading at ridiculous prices? and then coin a lot. I believe a lot is linked to marketing. Maybe we need to check who did the marketing on DOGE and copy some of his idea's, or give him a bounty to work on grumpy.

Mintcoin got pumped by Wolong. As did DOGE initially and even then DOGE has over 70000 subscribers on its Reddit. I'm sick of everyone comparing every coin to DOGE, it was the first mover in memecoins; there will never be another memecoin as big as DOGE.

Doesn't seem to be going anywhere and i have no intention of holding them for ever.

i find this a little stupid. Was Grumpy not trading at 4 a few weeks ago? Why not wait a few weeks and receive 4 sats again... One thing that i have learn in altcoin world, is that you need to be patient, LOT was trading at 11 sats, and then it jumped to 40 sats, never thought that it will move higher again, but never sold when it was moving lower. Same with DOGE when it was trading at 25, never thought about selling.

And why should Wolong not pump Grumpy when we are on mintpal? It can be that we still months at 1 sats, and we will certainly stay at 1 sats till the blocks are moving lower.

Huge, yes, but when something is pumped then 10BTC is nothing, even 100BTC is nothing. Mintcoin had more then 2000BTC of trading... I believe that getting Grumpy listed on mintpal will give us certainly a price above 2 sats one day

I notice that too, but the problem is before coins are exchanged from cryptsy to mintpal (for example) it will take 1 hour before it arrives, so if it would be in the wallet in 5 secs then indeed nice way to make profit...

But this is what i'm saying, why in the hell would you sell Grumpy at 1 sats, when you can have pumps, and believe me a sell wall of 15BTC is nothing!!!! Look at AUR, already 220 BTC!!!

The good thing about MintPal is that there is not much Grumpy left in the wallets, because a lot of them are already wainting in Cryptorush So when Grumpy hits MintPal there will be much smaller sell walls.. at least at the beggining

Although I see one danger for us. If they also open GRUMP/LTC market we can easily fall below one sat per GRUMP.

Total number of coins is not the only thing. Overall popularity of the coin and net hashrate are also important. We would need much higher diff to trade at 5 sat. You just can't beat math.
