minerd support would be super awesome at launch..

We would like to have it, if someone help us implement the miner.

Blocks 1-10,000 - 0.0001 MRC (To set difficulty and test network)
Blocks 10,000-160,000 - Block reward is the same as block number. (For fair launch)
Example: Block number 10,000 = 10,000MRC, Block number 160,000 = 160,000MRC
Blocks 160,000 - 310,000 - Block reward descending by one for each block. (For deflation)
Example: Block number 160,000 = 160,000MRC, Block number 160,001 = 159,999MRC and so on.
310,000+ - Block reward is a solid 10,000

please do like that to prevent a diff rape

Thank you so much for your recommendation I wonder how Litecoin handle a diff rape ? Do you know about that ?

Honestly, I tested it with "setgenerate true 4" option. I'm not sure about three choices above. I will test those command and report you later.

It's "setgenerate true X", with X being the number of threads to launch (use 1 per CPU core), and -1 meaning using all the available CPU cores....

I understand your point, but he asked for specific test case....so I need to test it, even you know it will produce the same result.

Sounds interresting but I have a question :
The 2 blocks you are going to premine are they 50 coin each?

because I've seen some other coins where they say they'll premine 5 coins, but the set up a block with like 100k coins or 1million coin or whatever

You've got an interesting idea but again, bad numbers. To get to block 160.000 you'd need about 2 months to 1 year. That's 1 year with a constant increase in coins flooding the market, price will go down the drain. This would also totally destroy any interest in early adoption since there's no bonus in doing that.

Here are my 2c (with 60s blocks)
start diff:0.25
Blocks 1-1000 - 10 VTC to combat whales getting too many coins.
Blocks 1001-END - 50base VTC
You don't need more than that since AFAIK Scrypt-Jane reduces hashing power over time. If that doesn't happen you'd need a block reward reduction of about 1/4-1/3 (NOT MORE) every 40k blocks to combat depreciation. (this based on what I've seen happen with doge and other coins).

Is cgminer will mine it?

Very good question, answer is I don't know. but I think for N=2048, GPUs are able to mine because it requires local memory per thread = 256 kB. As I know CUDA GPUs some cards have 512 kB.

Really psyched about this coin..  Low premining, ASIC immune, GPU resistant..  If we can get some good promotion for this, it'll be huge.

I dont understand what algo this coin is. It is scrypt but made this way so that GPUs cant mine it at least for a while?

Usually, local memory per thread in GPUs is limited let's say 32 kB. In this case, if you are using GPUs for mining, absolutely you can mine the coin but the performance will drop because you need to access share memory which require time more than local memory to access. So technically, we don't prevent GPUs, but GPUs mining are not worth to mine.

ok nice Smiley And why do you choose 2048 instead of 4096? i mean to me it seems it will be easy for cpus and even harder for gpus. what is the reasoning of the choice? I am asking only to understand! no criticism.

Simple answer is people voted this number from here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=406031.0

My intention in the first time is N=32768, but my core-i5 cannot mine !! even compile takes like whole day.
