I just compiled a windows version of CGminer https://www.dropbox.com/s/ksgtrltpah1eqes/Vertcoin-CGMinerAleksNR3.zip
Please use it to solo mine only for the moment until there are more pools to avoid danger of 51%.
You will need an AMD card with LOTS of RAM.  Expect less than 50% normal scrypt hash rate.

Enjoy,

Aleks

Reposting my vertcoin.conf from yesterday: http://pastebin.com/QQ2xGLRA

Note this is for wallet miners - you may need to change rpcallow to your IP address for CGminer.

I'm looking for some configuration for the cgminer that aleks just posted. Any info there?

Works on my R9 270s, but for some reason crashes (or never starts) on my R9 290s...

WHERE IS THE CPU MINER?

There is none aside from the wallet.  cpuminer is being adapted, but I don't think it's working.  Ask on IRC or wait til tomorrow.

I've got similar cards. How are you running your cgminer.conf file and/or batch file?

Take your vert coin.conf with the addnodes info and add,

Server=1
Listen=1
Rpcuser= invent username
Rpcpassword= invent password
Rpcport= whatever port you have lying unused

For the windows miner zip file, unzip and create a .bat file like you usually do.
Simple version,

Cgminer --scrypt -o http://localhost:RPCPORT -u USERNAME -p PASSWORD -I 13

Intensity whatever you normally use in cg miner.  Come on people we do this every day! Wink

Sorry this doesn't help the 290 guys

$MAID & $BTC other than that some short hodls and some long held garbage.

It's not working for me because it seems I am lacking enough RAM in my mining rigs to run it. I'll either have to wait for an update or mine something else. Oh well.

My pool is not yet ready. Will let you know when it is

Update: Its fully up now!

EU #2 STRATUM Mona:   eu2.bitcrush.info:3444
US #1 STRATUM Mona:   us.bitcrush.info:3444

The website is available at http://vert.bitcrush.info

I'm currently mining with a 7950
I had to use a lookup gap of 8, which is maximum, I guess someone needs to write a better kernel for this coin so more miners are able to support the network

What's your 7950 hash/s ?
Around 90 khash/s at I 18
But I cannot use my PC at all at then. Thats why I let it run at I 10 to 12 with 10 to 20 khash/s

What about CPU mining in pool? No miner available, so it it possible to wallet mine in pool?

I'm still waiting on that so I can give them my bounty reward. Best to lurk at the IRC channel.

I would be able to get the basic cpu miner working but I will fail hard at the optimized sse/avx implementations
