I mined 50 VTC but in blockexplorer is 'Address not seen on the network."
Its orphan?

Search for your transaction ID instead. That appeared for me.

In scrypt I hate gpu whales...
In this coin I hate cpu whales and cloud whales...

Yeah, i agree, someone needs to make defensive cloud CPU coin Smiley

These new coins especially, you want to jump in but you are already competing against how many Digital Ocean CPUs?Huh  Network hash rate is already what.....

No you can create biggers too. But right now i think DO doesnt have bigger to offer. And also 2CPU is the most cost effective i think. Its a pity DO let us have only 5 of them...

But carefull. You need to have at least 2Gb of RAM!

Diff is about to jump up at block 2016. Lets see how this goes. Should reduce orphans for you guys.

How do you know, teach me please.

No offense intended, but did you quote the right thing? I assume you know that orphan rate goes way up when the blockrate is super fast (under a few seconds per block).

And where does the .conf file go?

On windows, vertcoin.conf in c:\users\<your-name>\appdata\roaming\vertcoin

have that file look like:

addnode=1.2.3.4
addnode=5.6.7.8

etc.

then restart vertcoin.

Excellent, smooth launch OP. Nice coin too - makes a change from all the clones recently. We should try to get the word out to non-miners about this, "the bitcoin you can mine on your ordinary computer".
