I know someone is mining vertcoins so I just have to ask how you do that?
I have tried to to everything possible I can to start mining scrypt N coins but with no success.

Could someone tell me what to download and where?
What else I have to download than vertminer?

I have 3 x asus r9 270x GPUs

I would really really really appreciate if someone could help!

Thank you!

In my oppinion if we mine now, and continue mining even price go down, we will see in some weeks, and months that it was very good choice,

mybe sometimes can be better to mine LTC and trade for VTC if its profitable, but in both options we will be rewarded.

what I want to say, Dont panic, or be stressed to much with temporary down trends  Wink

You will find all answers here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=416572.0). You can download the official vertcoin software for mining from www.vertcoin.org , I am sure there are links on the first page of this thread as well.

Here you go, 270x config:

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
vertminer --scrypt-vert -o stratum+tcp://xxxxxxx:3333 -u xxxxxxx  -p xxxxxxxx  -w 256 -I 19 -g 1 --thread-concurrency 12288 --shaders 1280 --gpu-engine 1100 --gpu-memclock 1500 --lookup-gap 2 --temp-target 75 --temp-cutoff 85 --temp-overheat 82 --gpu-powertune -20

This should give you around 220-230 kh/s, plug in the url for the pool, username and password and you are good to go.

p.s. this is for vertminer
p.p.s. if your card can't handle the 1100mhz for CPU core, try lowering the --gpu-engine 1100 value to lower

Damn when I read from someone saying they just sold 4k vertcoins like nothing I always look at my meager 20 vertcoins and go "damn, people have thousands? These guys need to send me some jeez" lol.

Bah, went to join p2p but the latency site seems to be down too. Has anyone heard any updates or perhaps have some inside info?

Looks like my shares are still getting through so not worried but after messing with my sets I really just need to verify that the shares are being registered.

I have a RHEL server and tried to use the pooler-cpuminer 2.3.3. I traced a link which said it would work for vertcoin, but all im getting is "boooo"

[2014-03-24 14:15:52] accepted: 0/59 (0.00%), 328.24 khash/s (booooo)

I don't know that I can build from source as suggested (no experience) so I was hoping to find a working RHEL X64 binary. If this one doesn't work, is there another?
I got to the pooler-cpuminer from the following reference:
-----
https://github.com/Bufius/cpuminer-vert
-----
This is a multi-threaded CPU miner for Vertcoin,
fork of Jeff Garzik's reference cpuminer.

License: GPLv2.  See COPYING for details.
