I think that BFL is good at printing pretty PCBs with "prototype" on it so that they get the attention of the press.

Now are the chips under that "waterblock" dumby (urban dictionary sp.) or real? Still no word on the pending slice and bump etc nor mention of a test. This is going to be months of no to little information and delays just like last time. If after this incarnation people continue to promote BFL then it really is a matter of paid sponsoring on an order never been seen in this community.
March... I am guessing May if you are "first" in line.

It is a ball of smoke. It is a prototype 1 board (no traces, not a working PCB). They should take that pic again on a prototype 3 or higher. (Should be blue) (But instead they used a dead board to take the pic with....ie.....no progress) Edit: Nevermind, OP added 2 extra photors with what looks like a revision 3 board.

MONSTROSITY! Looks like they are dropping the heatsink (ala video cards/GPU's). in favor of liquid cooling connections. I imagine they will make a nightmare to install side by side inside a PC unless you have ample experience with water cooling solutions.

It's Inaba-rigged. It is a whole new league of "Wow, WTF is that? Will it Work?" Jerry rigs things with a [barely] respectable thought as to form and function. Macgyver is crying in his basement right now after seeing this pic.

It is a ball of smoke. Do you remember HashFast high precision PCBs? Black PCBs made of 3d printed plastic? LOL, i've yet to add them to my wiki, but yet, amazing.

HashFast, claims to have started shipping its ultra-fast Baby Jet rigs in late December (although customers say the company is past due on its shipments). That's only thanks to us. I should write her back asking for a link.

Terrifying!
How long until piping hot water from mining rigs is heating our homes?
edit: no, wait, cup holders made of block erupters. There. I've solved the BTC energy problem.

It's like I'm having flashbacks to this time last year when Josh released that ASIC "timeline" to get the chips out. Seems they're about on schedule for June delivery then!

This is going to be quite entertaining.
In about 3 months the announcement that the cards will come with free cooling blocks, filled with liquid nitrogen immersed in dry ice.
With a warning that if you turn off the cooling before you turn off the Monarch, the card will turn to lava and burn through to the core of the earth.
