A 2x block reward at the beginning sounds reasonable to me.

Pool up @

dgb.Get-By.com

I have real cash invested in this pool, so let's get some DigiBytes Smiley

Oh yeah, I will be giving away some of that 500,000 DGB bounty the OP is giving us to dedicated miners who stick with us through the 3-day launch period  Grin

Did I mention the pool is managed by a team of uber-geek-troubleshooters?

MOAR DGB  Kiss Grin

EDIT:
Literally just got old Bessie up and running, be kind if there is a tic or two as the first users register.  My hired geek-squad assure me she will be purring like a kitty-cat come launch time Shocked

I have been in private message contact with the OP for sometime now.

IMHO, they mean well.

I wouldn't bet my children on it; but then again there isn't much I would bet my children on Smiley

Remember, this coin is not a small circulation coin.  The Pre-mine is not small, but plug it into a calculator against the total circulation and isn't massive either by any means.

Of coarse, declaring the addresses of the pre-mine publicly (even if they are easy to discern) and promising to be compeletely transparent about where it goes and for what purpose is not a bad thing either!

@sammy007, Maybe I'm the one who is mistaken, wouldn't be the first time, but last time I checked 10 @ 0.1 = 1 just as properly as 1 @ 1 = 1.

That said, how many dollars, or Euros do you think there are in circulation?  You can't change the beast once you release it and print paper coins.  Any kind of reasonable adoption is going to require a whole lot of coins....

Taking a power-nap, I will be back with plenty of time before launch to make sure all the wrinkles are nice smooth concerning the pool @ dgb.Get-By.com

See you a handful of hours before launch Smiley

2. Don't allow pooled mining right off the start I find this causes a lot of issues with the network, if you force people to solo mine it ensures more wallets are created (more nodes, bigger network) and the block chain can form slowly and steadily

I have headless remote rig, how the hell I can mine solo?

God i am sick to read this 12 year old kids with "omg premined - scam" and "0,5% premine is TOO MUCH - scam"..

Get a fucking life and stop posting just to have +1 post more

If you prefer a 0 premined coins then buy some coin from coingen, don't premine it, setup a thread and let it die within hours because you won't have any motivation to improve your coin in the future.

@DigiByte, coin looks great, wallet too, good luck with it!  Wink

or something that looks slick and future. Not handwritten.

Awesome that this is general purpose coin (purpose not mentioned at all), not like other scam like SEX coins, Casino, etc... with all this scam trend everyone start thinking that it seems we all pay USD for democracy, MXN for cocaine, RUB for Natashas, etc.
