Bought myself a few mill more. If I compare Digibyte with other serious coins then current Digibyte price is just a giveaway  Wink

Yes, it is like a giveaway, that was the word I was trying to find for so long for the current DGB price Cheesy

In the meantime... something is cooking atm

Sometimes you talk a lot, and does not reflect any benefit.
You create a simple app for making life (mining) easier and it just perfectly fits with the future and starts changing things.

Talking development (white paperers as Jared mentioned! Be careful!), releasing development is so different ! Jared and DGB team delivers !

Great idea to bring the part of crypto mining into the livingroom. Wonder how this multi algo thing works out? Is there some modus between e.g. CPU/GPU mining or does every hash counts just the same?

I downloaded and installed the DigiHash Easy Miner und I'm mining Scrypt since 2 hours now but haven't received any payments yet - is that normal?
How long does it take to get a payout?

Did you check Digihash.co so everyting is ok?
If its all ok you payment will follow shortly, Dont know how long it takes exactly.
There is a wiki page coming with all this information.

Do mined coins needs to mature before you see any payouts? In that case it could be several hours before you see something I suppose?
+ how many blocks are needed to fully mature?

Payouts are immediate if you're solo mining. That means that once you find a block, the entire block is yours and goes directly into your wallet.

If you're mining on a pool, be it P2P, traditional, or officially sponsored, your payout amount will depend on your proportional hashpower contributed towards finding each block. As for payout threshold minimums (when your hashrate contribution is extremely small), they are set by each pool operator.

Those are just some very basic answers for your general questions. The more information you can provide on each individual case, the better! Post system specific data, along with mining configurations (algo, program, settings, etc.) and results, for more specific responses. You'll not only be helping yourselves, you'll also be lending a big hand to the rest of us, and to DGB in general!

I wonder if the extra mining will bring more dumps on the coin?  Thoughts?

Even if you do find a block solo mining (which is rather unlikely) you still need 120 confirmations before the DGB is spendable. It will show up in your wallet but will be labelled 'immature'. Same goes with pooled mining of any sort, after finding a block you will have to wait for them to be fully confirmed which in Digibytes case is 120 confirmations / 30 second avg block times and then wait for your DGB balance to hit the pools minimum payout threshold.

Yes sir!

BTW, solo mining success really depends on your hashrate. It's rather easy to set up solo mining with several miners. And as you say, you'll have to wait for 120 confirmations before you can spend your newly discovered DGB. Just in case the point is lost on anyone, the reason why you have to wait at least that long for any pool payout (except P2P which is also immediate - the problem here with very small hashrate contributions is that you're probably not going to get any payout at all!) is that no-one would payout before getting paid themselves (even if they could, but they can't anyway until confirmed!). Again, with threshold minimums, that depends on the pool operator's configuration (and, again, with P2P, very small hashrate contributions normally don't reach minimums to even get a minimum, which is to say, you'll end up with a big fat zero.)

24 caught wind of a conversation I was having with Shapeshift over twitter and suggested getting DGB on their service. I think this is a great idea and am contacting them now. Has anyone else touched base with them about adding DGB?

Miningpoolhub is experiencing same issue.

There may be some bug or attack on the network.

I emailed them asking what the process and criteria are for getting a coin listed. If we have some idea of what they're looking for, we can round up the appropriate resources.

I did a few times over twitter, but no response or whatsoever.
They will NOT add us until we really have something to show them.

As I said previously this type of thing requires a bit of hard work and very formal invitation or proposal, that would be better if contacted by the dev team or Jared.
And Jared said, they need some more time to get in touch with those exchanges etc...

Hello,

We need to see that the coin has significant trade volume - once we see that, then we consider adding it.

Kind regards,

Politics answer. What is significant? DGB has a volume of 3BTC  per day at the least!

When the Digiboom happens, Shapeshift.io will jump on quickly. We just have to make sure it happens Grin

Maybe bribing will work, who knows Wink

That's a pretty harsh thing to say just because they feel Digibyte isn't worth investing in at the moment... A much better response is to thank them for their response and keep fighting the digibyte fight- Everything else will fall into place, including shapeshift.io! So thank's for your response shapeshift.io, and watch our community, value, and trade volume grow together. I'll be around the site when you add Digibyte Smiley

DGB is my and the future's coin of choice! Don't cry if you don't invest Wink
