Perhaps someone's already mentioned this.

The dump was limited to Poloniex (the other exchanges followed in arbitrage).

It amounted to just over $10,000 USD worth of DGB.

Just under the $13,000 total USD that was spent buying DBG over the 400 SAT price.

Pretty stupid on both sides but especially on the sell side (unless you're in a hurry to lose your money).

And those same speculators never stop trying to convince the rest us just how smart they are and that it wasn't them.

People are dumping all their eth coins because they are scammers. They even posted on their site the devs are selling off everything. So now is the time to shine Digibyte and get those customers that are looking to reinvest in a real crypto.

I love the noob analysis. "those that bought at x have now lost money".

You never lose unless you sell below what you bought at. DGB is one of the strongest alts by a long shot so the pump we just experienced will pale in comparison to DGB value in 2-5 years.

For those calling for the price to plummet, I can only hope you are right as I will be there to pick them all up and add to my millions.

thanks,
john

I'm glad I bought 5 million at 20 when I did. Everyday has been a win for me😀. So I'll keep holding untill we hit that dollar range because I know we will get there.

This link leads to nowhere by the way on the first page.
It could use a correction, just to make sure people can read about the Investment. And if it's not an url in it, you should remove the link option Smiley

Who's was this investment from?

Will DGB get the attention of any other big time investors anytime soon?

Are there any DigiByte conferences I can attend anywhere in the world? I am willing to fly anywhere to give support to the team.

Just a word to the old-timers. We all know who we are and none of us are the personality types that need reaffirmation. Let the newcomers join in and have fun. Ultimately they will become the old-timers themselves. A big hearty welcome to all, except for the trolls.

The trolls are hard to identify with complete certainty, but they do have common hallmarks, one of which is the disruption of online discussion. There are many other easily identifiable traits that allow you to spot them when they're around, and a few good strategies to defeat them. Identify them, don't ever go down to their level, slowly but surely patiently expose them, and then be done with them (using any of the many different strategies available to you). But whatever you do, DO NOT allow yourself to be part of their disruption (and sometimes quite intentional distractions) even if that means you might have to go without defending lies and insults beyond simply stating the facts or reminding someone that they are being offensive (once and only once). One of the better pieces I've read on the subject can be found here: http://www.peorian.com/technology/technology-news/trolls-cyberbullies/1079-how-to-identify-and-defeat-an-internet-troll

Like the author says, "Learn how to quickly recognize a troll and you've won half the battle".

Don't put up with their BS, but make sure you don't become one of them in the process.

Good stuff ha ha!

one of my all time favorites:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=408268.msg11807984;topicseen#msg11807984

Simply unbelievable...

Like I told everyone here months ago: Run, don't walk, from this thing...

But since you just choose not to, have what you so fully deserve. In spades.

If you can only spread unfounded negativity, then you won't be missed. Goodbye and farewell.

  Cheesy

Good for a laugh anyway.

(That's when it was only good 'ol barabbas, but now we might need to get even more competent and vigilant with the issue.)

1.When will USD on ramp become available ?
2.Is a DGB to USD debit card possible similar to my Xapo one or my CCDEK one?
3.Can anyone tell me what advantages DGB has over DASH?

1. ?
2. yes it's possible, no plans for it yet as far as I know.
3. Dash is meant to provide untraceable payments, unlinkable transactions and is blockchain analysis resistance which kind of defeats the idea of public scrutiny if you ask me. Oh yeah DigiByte can be mined by anyone with a computer or specialist mining equipment and is designed to compete with Visa for transaction capability and speed and is useful for everyone.

there are plenty of people that don't want anyone to know where they get their money or how much they spend on whatever but generally it isn't the biggest concern to most normal human beings.

What do you guys think the potential price point for DGB to be in the future? With so many coins in existence, I wouldn't imagine it being too high.

I was wondering this too. I guess it depends how big the crypto market will get and how fast. Then it depends how much market share digibyte will consume. IMO crypto is going to boom, and digibyte will rise to the top 5 within 5 years max (personal opinion).

I think if both these factors become true market cap could be £500 million, divide that by total coins in existence (I've no idea what this will be in 5 years, take 10 billion as an estimate) = 5 pence or like 7 cents

I think it will get to top 5 because of the genuine vibe I, and seemingly many others get from dgb. Also devs are still active and community is growing strong
