Good move but it's still not competitive enough with the S2s which can currently be had for $1650 including worldwide shipping.  Furthermore, there is still no indication/guarantee that it performs at a full 1T in spite of the upgraded PSU.

Link? Cause all I see is a GB that ships in 9 days or buying from Bitmain and using a $400 coupon that gets you just under $2k.

No need for a link because you already know what I'm referring to but $1650 is still less than $1750.  Of course, one could argue that there are a few days difference in shipping times but as we all know by now, there are no guarantees in shipping punctuality in the mining hardware world (there are some accounts of late shipping on this particular thread)...then there are performance and quality factors with the respective hardware that also needs to be figured in when deciding which one to buy.  The good thing is that we have choices.

Bit-Tech is a bad businessman because he promised to ship my miners the next day but did not ship them for another ten days.  I will not buy anything from Bit-tech again even for $1000 a miner.

It was 5 days not 10 days, give me your btc adress i will compensate with bitcoins, send me pm. and you will have them in 5 mins.

i bought one at $2200 + $150(shipping to US)
Tx id: 980f75557d3d7d6016fb81da72b923c282c793716801726db8423fb38deea022

BAD experience buying from bit-tech:
- Promised next day delivery. In reality, 10days late.
- Promised new miner. In reality, used miner with 1/4inch dust covering all fans.
- Promised 1Th/s. In, 950Gh/s
- Promised working miner.  In reality, miner came with bad power board.
- Power supply died after 1 week.

Seller did not compensate me for any of problems. wouldn't buy from him again.

Could you please post a current quickie picture of the device, most especially the inside showing the 1300W PSU?

Which exchange do you use to convert the quoted price to BTC?

Thanks.

Was wondering same thing.  At $1500, considering switching from S2.  But the exchange rate matters.  BTC-e: bad.  Bitstamp: reasonable.

Though the current price is now interestingly competitive (kudos to Bit-Tech), let's not get too overexcited.  At the current exchange rate of $448, the $1500 price would come out to around 3.35 BTC.  I'd just like to point out that based on my current personal practical data (and not from some theoretical calculators), this miner would recoup such BTC amount in about 2.5 months (without considering future difficulty increases, power cost and down times).  Just a food for thought.
