sheeesh I wonder how the "devs" came up with that number....ohh wait I know....its from whatever clone of a clone of a clone scrypt coin they copied from.
really guys, 0.00024414 for a starting diff. Its 2014 not 2009
Ohh wait there is more...Solominers get 10 MINUTES to instamine this before pools get to turn on their stratum. So for any pool miners out there, tough luck, this baby is getting INSTAMINED TO death before you get to mine a single coin.

Fair start diff would be like 0.1
It may not be too late to sneak this adjustment in. I see it as beneficial too. We could drop the initial block rewards too for a good number of blocks to allow the difficulty to rise naturally. I will consult with DrRazi, who is not online at the moment, thus I do not want to mislead anyone on the current exact starting difficulty number. Check back in a few hours. |

Personally, I'd prefer to start diff higher, just as suggested at 0.1, but not sure if we would have enough time for testing as we want a smooth start. I do not agree with your theory at all. Why don't you just come and join in and get some coins. I bet you will be crying you did not mine them once they hit the markets. We need to be a community here not a freeking bash fest of children! I am so ready to mine these! I will hold all of mine for a long time and not feel bad for people that have all these theory's and don't just shut up, jump in and hang on for the ride. It's fun as hell! |
