50 minutes and no one is even telling me how to open the wallet. why isnt it working
Windows or Linux? Which file did you download? I'm also having the same problem, Windows 7 user, using the wallet which bumface provided. It just shows the icon in the taskbar which disappears in 5 seconds and the client closes. |

Ok, seems to me we all here are sitting on just FEW blocks 50 worth each.. meaning we all together have just few hundereds or thousands minted.. how does it feel in comparision of 2 mils premined???  been on since the start and not even a reject here. Just watching new block detected go by every 4-5 sec I am wondering who is generating this blocks.. every one is complaining that they are not finding any blocks yet they are being generated as hell.. so who is getting them?? If you were getting some would you be posting on this thread? |

price of this scam coin would have to be astronomical.. 50 found after hour on such low diff!!! cant imagine diff being even bit higher.. then onone founds nothing..what then will be price of 1 coin? 1 btc? good job devs.. have good luck with your huge premined stack.. |

a couple thing I worked around so far in case they are of some help to others:
are you getting "Redirection is not supported." ?
use -T when you run the miner. this seems to be a curses related problem (used for direct cursor address to display the screen)
did you make your own .conf file because you did not see one?
put it in c:\users\yourusrname\AppData\Roaming\Ultracoin\Ultracoin.conf it does not seem to look in the current directory first
on *nix, when you set a port in the .conf file, use netstat -an to see if it actually is listening there. if not, your .conf is not being read
devs here are not crap/worthless/garbage, etc. they probably just underestimated the effort. a professional dev, who makes his/her living
at this is used to releasing to a schedule for an audience of 24/7 users ... well, this could have used a couple of those along with a decent systems engineer
better to slip the date and give yourself time to get it right. at the very least they need to COMMUNICATE

Bumface, there's a problem with the linux client. When started on th command-line it reports: Ultracoin-qt: 1: Ultracoin-qt: Syntax error: "(" unexpectedI get error when compiling in Ubuntu, if anyone compile successfully what's the command used? |
