people just swearing for no reasons, if you understood mining youd be able to sort it yourselves. Theres many people here mining multiple blocks with no issues

Yes, a programmer can fill in the blanks and adjust the pointers to make it work, but
I think the issue is releasing it to the public. Those operating by pattern recognition
are obviously having a lot of issues, most of which more thorough preparation could have avoided.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Thanks guys for the hilarious thread, well worth 1.5 hours of my life!

For me the launch was ok. I got the wallet at t+1min, got it synced at t+9min, got my first block at t+10min (had pre-configured the mining software and configuration),got my 2nd block at t+20min. Some rejects, no orphans --> nothing to complain about.
Shame of the pools though, but all in all props to Bumface and the devs!

So I think I finally got the solo miner running.

R9 280X only getting 475 kh's but no Accepted or Rejects.

Says New block detected on network.

Does this mean I am actually solo mining and are those blocks I am finding?

This is a huge accomplishment for me if I am actually solo mining. Been trying for a month now. Well with out solo mining from the wallet.

That is all I've been getting for over an hour.

Basically unless you have 5 M/hash+ you don't have a chance of finding anything. Unless a pool opens very soon this coin will die as even the people with big rigs won't be finding anything.

This post has been deleted 2 times by the OP!

Stop this scamcoin from being listed on Crypto-Trade exchange!
They have pre-mined 2,000,000 UTC and will dump them at you at feb 7!

Post here to make sure UltraCoin doesn't get listed on this exchange!

Hey, 2 of my posts are deleted, can't take any criticism?

Dev keeps deleting anyone that speaks out against this coin. So much for crypto freedom.

And you think it is a nice launch I presume?

Such a hyped coin as UTC should have pools and instructions up formthe beginning and the devs are barely answering anything i the offical thread...

I think this will hurt UTC badly.

This means it's working but you're not the one finding blocks...

You'll know if you find a block because you'll see "Accepted" and your wallet should get coins in it!
