Scrypt-jane coin and N factor is not even mentioned?

Will this coin launch at N 4 and being raped by ATI/AMD in the beginning or will it start at a reasonable, higher N?

a scrypt-jane capable cgminer fork, with binaries, will be available on launch day.

That's good to hear. I hope you release it a few hours before launch so everyone has a chance to get setup.

I'd say with N 4 you're being GPU exclusive in the beginning.

That is going to cause confusion which will end up hurting both coins.

So N will be updated in the future? What's the mechanism/schedule for that--does it increase regularly in the same way block reward changes?

yes i see your point ,but i cant change it now, that would mean recompiling code, changing wallets, logo, changing the website and so on....

I have spoken to the gentleman in question and we are both too invested in this name,so rather then follow the path of certain smartphone companys we have agree to peacefully coexist.

Just saw this and wanted clarification on the following quote

Please note that every partner gets 0.1% of the total number of coins, we feel this is not unreasonable as a compensation for our time and investment.

If the total pre-mined is 2000 with
1600 for bid
100 to partner 1:Ziggy (dev)
100 to partner 2:bumface (founder)

100 to professional consultant
100 to rewards to developer

So 100/2000 = 5% of the initial coins

So where is the 0.1% from? Are you saying that the partners get 0.1% of all future coins (both mined and staked) as well?

"Please note that every partner gets 0.1% of the total number of coins, "  quote from the announcement

total 100 million UTC, partner gets 100.000 UTC  = 0.1 % of the total number of coins

what you should do is cancel all the orders and return everyone their bitcoins. then do it right. let everyone make their bids then on the 27th of January say bidding is closed. then sell the coins from highest price to lowest price untill the coins are gone.
make this right. this coin deserves it.

If something like that were to happen, all the current bidders would accuse him for being greedy. What's done is done, it was our fault that we weren't fast enough to bid. Now let's move..
