When you register on bitmaintech.com it asks for your "Talk ID".  Is that just your user name here on bitcointalk.org or something else??  Probably a silly question but just don't want to screw something up and have an order delayed.

Yes, I read that, but there is nothing on bitcointalk.org called "ID" or "Talk ID" that I can see.  I went ahead and entered my bitcointalk.org user "name" assuming that's what they are referring to.

Maybe confirmations are done by hand and it takes longer?

I never got email confirmations on my order. As long as it says Paid and Valid in your order status page of your account, it's good. I got an email when my miner shipped but not when the payment went through.

I purchased an S1 from the very first batch, I'm pretty sure I was entitled to a coupon for a discount off future purchases. I registered at bitmaintech using my bitcointalk ID but no coupon shows up. If someone from bitmain sees this can you apply the coupon to my account? I think 1.9 BTC is slightly steep but I may want to use it

Woo hoo!  I was in sushi's GB5 and paid 3.15BTC  and have earned about 1.05BTC from mining  so by the time I receive this one; my cost-basis on the sushi GB5 Ant will be less than 1.90BTC   I am OC'ed 200GH/s but I also struggled with some downtime in the first 3 days due to mining-pool hopping.

I'm gonna try real hard to convert this 1.90BTC cost to fiat (by purchasing 1.90BTC from coinbase asap) that way, I can ROI for sure if BTC goes up in value against the $.

Bitmain Tech has not yet received the package we sent to you that is over $26,000 USD in value.  We will assess the situation after we receive the package in original resale-able condition.

According to the UPS, they attempted to communicate with you regarding the disposition of your attempted import for the commercial purposes, but you were not able to provide your Country's Customs the required materials by law and you did not provide UPS an option to return it to the sender.

The package is still exportable at this point with your instructions to the UPS and we don't have full control over the item.

Bitmain is in contact with the UPS to expedite the return, Please indicate to UPS that you are abandoning the package and with the the package to be return to the sender.

Bitmain i have just spoken with a UPS representative about the order and told them to cancel it and return to sender.

The woman said okay but that is not my responsibility and i cannot have the order returned as it has never been delivered to me. Only the sender can cancel the order as the order has never reached the receiver.


please contact UPS and finally sort this out...... again delays caused by miss/ lack of communication.

edit: She said have the sender contact UPS and the item would be returned to them no problem. Why are you telling me different?

Yeah that's my problem. Already have checking hooked in, have bought before, but I only have 1 Visa debit card and 3 Mastercards (1 credit, 2 debit). They don't accept Mastercard, and they don't accept Visa if it's debit. :/

I didn't do anything special, it just arrived in the UPS van.  I am pretty sure there is no import duty for computer accessories.

There usually charge a "admin fee" and VAT, but you cannot escape that legally, and it isn't so much.
