That teh dev claims Quark has a 98% premine means he is either a retard that hasn't even researched Quark or is a liar.  Both are not good.

Only difference between FairQuark and Quark are FairQuark has a 12 month main mining period vs Quark 6 month.  Oh and that FairQuark has a 4% premine so Dev gets 9,880,000 fairquark for his idiot scammer pockets.

What a joke.  People should feel embarrassed to mine this shit clone.  Mine Cthulu or Particle if you can't understand Quark, at least they made some attempt at some tweaks instead of just lieing and cheating.

GPUs aren't much more efficient than CPU for quark coins. When you factor in the fee Smelter takes, an i7 4770k is just about as good as a 280x

That GPU miner is not so powerful.. It is buggy (crashes all the time for me) and I can get almost the same amount with CPU..

Found 4 blocks within the last hour with my insane hashrate of 300KH/s.
Edit: smelter shows so 710KH/s, which I don't believe. It's a 7850 working here.

Made a guide for cloud ocean. It should work for home Ubuntu and Debian at least.

A launch with p2pool source code? Interesting! I've tried my hand at setting up a nodeypool at http://0x0a.nl:8372/. It seems to be working properly with the backend, but it doesn't seem to be part of the p2pool network somehow.. EDIT: Just add -n p2pool.fairquark.com as argument.

Smalltime miners welcome - 0.9% fee! Smiley

p2p.0x0a.nl for all your Cryptographic Anomaly, Cypherfunks, FryCoin, GameCredits, Gulden, PenguinCoin, and TittieCoin p2pool nodes! Err.. I mean needs! .. Both.

I remember there were others saying they will give away most of their 100% premined coins ....what was that?  Ripple...?
