Yes Hodl is the only applicable way to not lose money on this downtrend. Or if You have extramoney you can also go with Buy low and sell high. Because its nice to accumulate coins when others are fearful to buy. You can bid in a very very low price.
sure we can buy this dip,but how can sell?when the trend continues downing?i prefers to hold in times like this unless i can see some bad shape on the coins im having then i will choose to sell it to stop the loss Now you can buy cheap coins, and then sell when the market is on the rise.  The question is are you that same coin will grow?what if it continues to drop and dont recover for years what will happen to your capital?maybe better be carefully choose the coins to buy |

You can also invest the coins that you have into other altcoins which you think will go up soon so you can make a lot of money from it when the prices go up

Maybe it seems like an stupidity but for biggest part of users holding of coins or like it says HODL is really the only practical strategy. Take coin that on the top and hold it because it shouldn’t fall. |

That is the best time to buy is from an exchange. Not all projects have ICO's and if they did, buying during the ICO doesn't guarantee it will be the cheapest price. Many times I have seen prices on the exchanges being cheaper than the ICO price.

Actually it is not only the mandatory option we have got. I have seen that most of the people follow holding option and also suggest the same. I have also suggested that many times but according to the situation. In current scenario as we can see this year crypto currencies are peaking up the pace, going at some high prices but at the same time dropping heavily for a month or so. If this is going continue again then we should remember that we must try to apply buy low and sell high strategy and try to maximise our profits that way. When everything will be under bull run then we should go for holding strategy. |

The market only prepares for growth. Or falling. If you don't want to feel red color again, determine the price for yourself which you will close if there is a falling. If you have a purpose to the moon, hold her in general and don't sell in panic. I think it also depends on from where they use this capital to invest in crypto. Cutloss, stoploss, and whatever it is, showing that they are not prepared for this kind of situation. and it is easy for them to take a loss than HOLD |

The market has been fluctuating ever since, it goes up and down as it please. It just goes to show that the market is not dead because of the rise and fall of it. But I would agree to you holding your coins, for those you think would be huge in the near future like bitcoin.

Take coin that on the top and hold it because it shouldn’t fall. No bro we can't trust any coin at present condition even Bitcoin. if you buy coins to make a big profit then hold it but you bought to trade then don't make any big target if you get 30% profit sell it because once again we will get chance to buy back our coins. I had IOST token i received when the price was under $0.03 in just 2 weeks it went up to $0.08 i thought it will cross $0.1 and hold my tokens but suddenly it dropped to $0.04 so don't wait for a long time. at present also we can trade altcoins and make a profit if we have big capital. |

This indeed is the best policy to save yourself from the hardships later .
I always say , if the whole market is drowning then there is no need of any panic , but if the coin that you invsted on is the only one which is drowning , then there is a concern situation . HODL will definitely save you from any future regrets.
